Well-made and effective.
Simple, but effective. A friend told me about this and I had to check it out. It’s extremely well-made and surprising for the price.

Firmly holds blades for sharpening on sandpaper or perhaps a diamond steel.
Makes quick work sharpening my 6" jointer blades. I start with a diamond steel if there are chips, then move to 600 wet dry sandpaper wet down with a spray bottle, then 1000. I do this on a piece of plate glass. This jig and a magnetic blade setting jig make a reasonably quick job of changing jointer blades.

Works WELL, but bad screws.
Set screw sockets were sloppy with 2 totally stripped. New set screws ar ACE Hardware for $1.69 and I’m happy. Works well. I sharpened 3 sets of 4 jointer knives. The jig and 4 sheets of wet/dry sand paper cost less than paying for one set of knives to be sharpened.

Works scary good
Just a few short passes on a 1000grit diamond stone and the blades are so sharp it's scary

Useful Jig
really simple tool to make sure you get a good consistent edge on planer and jointer blades. The tool is sturdy aluminum, even with the hollow section it has a good weight and feel to it. I was able to get a nice sharp edge on both my jointer and planer blades. The six inch version is good for ~6in blades, I would probably recommend the larger version for tackling larger planer knives though.

Reasonably priced, but not 45 degrees as stated
I liked the sharpener, but as noted by some others, the angle is not 45 degrees as stated in the description. Perhaps some were properly made. I wanted to get it replaced, but without any assurances of getting one with the proper angle I just returned it.
