The material of this tape looks an feel very good. I used to wrap some cables on the engine bay an so far so good. No wear signals after three months of use.

Definitely a good price for 3 rolls. The tape is as expected, perfect sp far for the wire wrap on the door wiring in my Corrado. Will certainly come in handy for other wire wrapping tasks. It will definitely hold up well and the adhesion is excellent as it's rolled onto itself. No doubt it will last like the original wiring wrap that was on there for the last 29 years.

I've used a lot of Tesa 51608 tape and got some of this 51036 for where I wanted more abrasion resistance.For those wondering what the difference is between this 51036 and the 51608,51036 is stickier, tougher, not "fluffy", and can't be torn by hand.51036 has pretty much zero stretch.51608 is handier to use since you don't need a sharp knife or scissors to cut.51608 also has a little stretch making it easier to neatly bundle cables.51608 has less stick than the 51036. It sticks well to itself but not so well to other materials. Probably ideal for a cable loom tape.Both are great tapes, but each has their place.Also - a warning - watch out for some vendors selling similar description (not Tesa) tape at a reduced price. I tried some of it and it was pure junk. Wouldn't stick to anything.BTW, this vendor - Prime Ave - is good to deal with. Answered questions I had promptly.

It works well for what it is designed for. It’s durable and looks like factory. It could stand to be a little more adhesive but so can the best stuff on the market. Overall it works and looks great at a good cost.

Have not had. A chance to use yet but product came highly recommended.

Excelente producto

I have been rewiring the power distribution portion of the wiring loom in a classic car. I have tried many other products, like standard electrical tape, to no avail. The Tesa tap is highly durable and it sticks to itself and does not let go. I used inside the car and under the hood with excellent results. The Value of this product far exceeds the price. Excellent.

Using to make a custom wire harness under the hood. This tape is very durable and easy to use. Best to use scissors to cut it.
