There are no words to describe how beautiful this piece of art really is. Some words that come to mind: beautiful, awesome, detailed, inspirational….are just a few of the words I can think of. I am SO HAPPY I decided to get it though I wasn’t shopping for a pice this tall. But when I saw her picture, I felt the best vibe and decided to get her. Even my husband was overwhelmed when he saw her.I want to thank and commend the artist of this piece. You are a skilled artiste’ and I am humbled by tour talent. I read all of the reviews before I purchased her and all of them are so accurate and on point. I am so proud to own this piece. This captures the essence of Michelangelo’s masterpiece in a fun and impressive way. It is much bigger than I would have guessed - so much larger than a human head. I’m so happy to have this in my office.

Yes, you get what you pay for, and this is a mass-produced statue from a factory where quantity is more important than quality. You will see blemishes and uneven coloration, and the welds and joints are unsophisticated and bulky. But even for all that, this works fine for garden art. So . . . "museum quality" it isn't, but for a nice piece in one's garden or backyard, not bad.

This cast iron statue is well made. It's details are sharp and it's substantial weight and painted finish make it practical for outdoor use. However, be aware that the painted finish is darker in color than it's photo makes it appear.For my application it was too dark. I would give it 5 stars but was disappointed with it's dark finish. It did not display well in the setting where I placed it. So, I ordered a can of RustOleum "Gold Rush" spray paint and now she's beautiful. :-) (I tried to add a photo but, after 4 attempts, gave up.)

This Toscana figure is a beautiful depiction of the Zulu warrior chief. The hand-painting is exquisite. It was bought for my octogenarian friend, who has placed it in a prize position among his similar scale models. He gets much pleasure from viewing it from the comfort of his favourite armchair.

Premier envoi : Inadmissible emballage très succinct !! la statuette était emballée dans un fin plastique à bulles, mis dans un carton disproportionné !! donc arrivé cassé en plusieurs morceaux. Je ne comprends pas comment on peut envoyer un article fragile avec aussi peu de précaution.2ème envoi : Parfait super bien emballé et protégé, magnifique statuette, les couleurs sont resplendissantes, la taille est juste comme il faut, vraiment une très belle décoration. J'adore

I am sure it would have been a great product however, Amazon keeps posting it out without checking the inside of the box because inside the box is not the Water Carriers of Ghana but something completely different. I tried several times but to no avail.
