I know I've only been taking this product for a little less than a month. I bought it for myself, but after hearing its benefits, my husband jumped in on the wagon. I also bought this product primarily because of the great reviews on how collagen has helped many people with their joint pains. My biggest and most bothersome problem are my knees. For years, (and at night esp) I lose sleep because of the dull pain on both my knees. I received this product at night. I was already in pain. So I was anxious to use it. So I made chamomile tea and added a scoop of the product. First thing I noticed was that it dissolved pretty quickly in my hot tea. Secondly, I was pleasantly surprised that it did not alter the tatse of my tea. The product really is tasteless. I was happy and immediately thought of many other foods and drinks I could mix it in. Great! I have a lot of options on how to use it everyday! OK, so i was in pain when i first took it and although I was anxious for the results, I knew it would take some time for the product to work in my system. Maybe after a few days or maybe a couple weeks the product will start to work for me, I thought to myself. Anyway, I took the product with no expectations at all. Lo and behold! I woke up the following morning and I'm thinking, "Wait, what? I slept through the night? No pain?! No!!? Can't be!" I had pain every single night for years, but that night I had no pain. The product cant work that fast. Must be just a coincidence! Tried it again, but this time in the morning to mix with my coffee and once again, I slept through the night. Needless to say, it has been almost a month of taking physician's choice collagen peptides, and I have been pain free since. This includes pain relief on my shoulders, and back. I also suffer from fibromyalgia, and I swear this has helped, too. I have a lot of prescription meds because of all my aches and pains, but I promise u, I have not taken any since taking this product. I still have pains but not as bad as it used to be. I hope to be completely painfree with this new product. I am so grateful I learned about this supplement. I just wish I knew sooner and saved myself a lot of pain and agony. To add on to this amazing testimony, I learned that collagen is great for the hair, nails, and skin as well. Although I have not seen much difference in these aspects (yet), I know it will come next and I can't wait! I just finished my first container and am very surprised with the results. I read about collagen peptides when searching for solutions for fine thinning hair. I'm 56 and really didnt think there was a solution, but you just never know. After reading quite a bit about the various possible benefits and a myriad of reviews, I chose Physicians Choice. Backstory, as I was getting dressed today and using a new lighted makeup mirror, I was convinced my eyes were so old no amount of light would be enough as I know I have more wrinkles and deeper wrinkles than what i saw. So I took the mirror to the window and even under bright morning sun, my skin looked so much better than before. I still thought it was a matter of not enough light. Then tonight at dinner my 11 year old granddaughter commented on how I didnt have as as many wrinkles i use to and then it hit me. It wasn't the light this morning, it was the collagen peptides. So i would say this stuff definitely works when it comes to improvements in skin. I cant say if it has helped with joint pain because we're having spring like weather this week and my joints only ache in really cold weather. I also cant say for certain that it has done anything for my hair, since we all know hair only grows about 1/4 to 1/2 inch a month anyway. But I can say my hair has become more manageable with less work and my eyebrows have started to fill in as well as my lashes seem to be getting longer. So if it's improving those areas, I would think it is also helping the hair on my head but it would just take longer to see results. Already have more peptides ordered. Am actually tempted to put it on auto ship. I read some reviews that said you need two scoops instead of one, and after comparing other products and collagen amounts, I agree - reason for 4 stars instead of 5. I dont drink coffee so I mix it in my morning orange juice. That seems to work better than water. I also found if I let the juice sit for a few minutes, 3 or so, just so it's not ice cold, the powder dissolves much easier.

I have been using this collagen for several years now. I was bummed when they started packaging it in a bag with a short handle scoop. It used to be in a container with a long handle scoop and it was much easier to use. At least replace the scoop Physician’s Choice! The product itself is great! No flavor or smell. It dissolves well in hot or cold. I have noticed the many benefits and that’s why I stick to it. It has the supporting supplements I need. I think the price point is great for the quantity and servings.
