I bought this to take advantage of my new iPhone 14 pro max. As far as a gimbal goes it works, great capabilities and great battery life is cited. However in order to use the full capabilities of it you have to use their photo app which you have to pay for! Returned for refund.

Well designed & comfortable in the hand gimbal. The beauty of this gimbal is that it can handle large phones. I have a Samsung N10 plus. There has been the odd occasion, when the gimbal went limp (not sure why) but after a quick restart it continue to work. I've used it for weddings, parties & walks in the parks. I'd say that it has worked perfectly 90% of the time. Going to be getting the Samsung 22 ultra, next week. We'll see if it'll work with that. So far I am very satisfied with it's performance and handling.

This is a sturdy, well designed gimbal with some things other gimbals don’t do, like 360° vortex mode, 300+g payload weight, focus/zoom wheel.On the other hand, at the time of writing, the apps from the manufacturer are so poorly written as to be almost useless. Manual exposure/focus resets itself for no reason, slow motion doesn’t work, focus wheel doesn’t work at all on iOS in the ZYcami app, higher frame rates don’t work in either ZYcami or StaCam without a restart and even then they’re not captured properly.Hoping with time these problems are fixed because it’s a promising bit of hardware. .

I want handy one. Overall gimbal is impressive. I wanna handy type. Thats why returning.

I just got and tested this Zhiyun Smooth 5 and love how the brand is making versatile gear right now. I have q lot of Zhiyun products and they come with different accessories, in the case of the Smooth 5, a built-in light and light gels. Stabilisation is good and it will definitely help enhance the quality of your videos. Recommend it

We purchase this To take on holiday but it was just ridiculous to try and set up so we just put it back in the box and left it until we returned from holiday and send it back

Works great as a gimbal for your phone, it takes a little getting used to but once you do will be a great device to record your videos, has some awesome features too! Built nicely and easy to access buttons

does not work on Iphone unless you but £200 app
