I use one for my BBQ area for under my gazebo, and i was afraid it wasn’t going to be bright enough, but it’s actually a LOT brighter than i expected which is great, might actually be a bit too bright, but you can add a dimmer which will help.

These lights are bright and perfect for the space. 15 lights, spaced roughly 15’ apart and 16’ high, really lit up my indoor riding arena.

Yes, 10 of them installed somewhat staggered on the main floor of my 48x60 shop with 16ft walls. It basically feels like daylight in there 24x7 now. They put off very minimal heat in my installation - hanging down about 2ft from roof trusses on a lightweight chain. I just hope they last - so far so good after almost 2 months.

This light is very robust, the cast aluminum construction is stunningly nice for this price. Fit and finish is very good overall. I have it directly above my table saw and it does nicely in this role. The light is very slightly cool/blue in tone, I don't have tools to quantify it but it does look about 5000k. Mounted about 12' up, the light level is utterly insane. Like, exceeding daylight brightness directly beneath it. Good thing it is dimmable, and the dimming is quite good, with no perceivable flicker. However, the dimming range is not 0-100% as stated, it bottoms out at maybe 10 or 15%. I tried two different dimmers and got the same result. This is a limitation, as 10% brightness is fine for work but still way too bright on this fixture at 12' up for convivial use. Also, both a switch and a dimmer is necessary to control this, which adds cost and wiring complexity. If you take it from this mess of words and commas in this item description ("UL Certified Driver IP65 Hanging Hook") that this fixture is UL certified and the driver is IP65, as I did, you are wrong: apparently the driver is UL listed but the fixture is not, and the fixture is IP65. This feels a little disingenuous but I guess it does say that, if you really pick apart that title, so can't knock 'em too hard. Anyhow, the quality does seem just fine.

I had some older 4' CFL shop lights hanging in my garage that didn't like the cold and just weren't bright enough. I bought two of these and WOW.....these are amazing! I will get one more and 3 of these will replace 5, 2-stick CFL shop lights. I love these lights.

I replaced led lights (tube style) with these. This lighting is so much better! I hung the 150w at 12’ and they work great.

You won't be disappointed it's a very bright light used it in my garage 12ft ceiling. Very solid too.
