Worked excellent for the small job I had
I was replacing the floor pan in my Jeep as well as patching a hole under the driver's door. The two part self mixing epoxy was expensive, but worth it. Finding this inexpensive dispenser was a life saver. I've only used it twice, so I didn't want or need anything expensive or fancy. It just had to do the job. Worked flawlessly both times. I like being able to use 50ml sizes, since I'm not doing anything big. It was surprising how far 50ml goes though. It did more than I was expecting.

Does the job
Worked great with the 50ml 3M DP420 cartridges I used for my project. I have never used the name brand tool, so I don't know how it compares, but this one seems durable enough for occasional to moderate use.

Three Important Things to Know
(1) This dispenser gun only comes with one plunger: a 2:1 mix ratio. However, that same plunger can be used with 1:1 mixtures also so it will dispense 1:1 mix products. (2) it fits 3M 50ml cartridges. The particular cartridge I'm using at the moment is 48.5ml (3M Scotch-Weld DP100NS). (3) The quality is acceptable and the overall value is great (i.e. its cheap and it works). HOWEVER, this dispenser gun is NOT equivalent to the significantly more expensive 3M branded unit. I own both (but can't find my original 3M gun at the moment and I'm in the middle of a job). The 3M unit is made in Switzerland with all the attendant precision, fit, and finish (sort of like a Swiss watch). This unit is made in China and while it definitely works (absolutely NO problems), it does take a little bit of effort to insert the cartridge correctly and get everything ready to go - you've got to fiddle with a little because the manufacturing tolerances are more liberal than on the Swiss-made original. My recommendation is that if you're only going to use the unit a couple times, this is completely fine. In my case I use the dispenser every couple months and realize that the big investment is in the bonding cartridges and the items I'm adhering so if I didn't already own an original, I'd purchase the higher-quality, branded, 3M product (I'm sure I'll find my original 3M unit, but it may take a while - LOL!)

worked perfectly for 3m 47.5 ml glue
Great price and value. I used this gun with the 3M Semi-Rigid Plastic Repair, 34240, 47.3 mL Cartridge to repair my front bumper cover on my 95 BMW 540i after a racoon ran in front. Can't imagine not having this gun to do this job.

Just like the expensive kind
Why pay more? This is just like the professional (read, expensive) dispenser, and works just the same. I use mine for 50cc Hysol cartridges. Don't forget the mixing tubes.

Well made product
I haven't actually used the dispensing gun yet so cannot attest to durability issues. It is exactly the tool I needed to dispense 2 part epoxy used on carbon fiber and metal joining. Be aware that you need to get the correct tips separately as epoxies can be in different tube.

Does exactly what it says on the tin, however the black plunger part is set as a 2:1 ratio mix (one side smaller than the other) and not ideal for 1:1. I found that when trying to push out the glue I a 1:1 mix adhesive tube the glue on the one side was all pressing back on itself and depositing all over the plunger at the back. Made for a messy clean up
