A Cozy Coloring Cookbook: 40 Simple Recipes to Cook, Eat & Color

Foul language in a coloring cookbook?
We could laugh and pass on the recipes that require alcohol to make drinks, etc. However, curse words are very offensive, and this was purchased for my teen daughter as an art/cooking book for this year. (For reference, it's on page 22. There is a title for a variety of recipes that says, "How to have a cozy-xxx Brunch".)I understand that as more and more adults take up the past time of coloring, authors are most likely seeking to appeal to an older audience. However, coloring books have typically been created for children. In conclusion, this was not appropriate for a coloring book.period.If it wasn't past the return date, I would have returned this! Now, we're stuck with a book that my daughter is no longer looking forward to using this year. At the very least, I am allowing her to pick and choose what recipes she gets to make. Finally, we're going to end up pitching this...very disappointed.

Great quality - just didn't read the details! (my fault)
I got 2 of these for my little sisters (11 & 13) and didn't realize there were some swear words in it and cocktail recipes, LOL! My fault!! We ended up just tearing out a few pages and it got a laugh from my family. My sisters did love this and use their colored pencils and spent a few hours coloring in them. I'm super happy with the purchase.

Coloring, Corgis and Cookies? OH MY!
I have a few other coloring books for adults, but this one is truly a work of art! Not only are the recipes of the same beautiful and amazing quality that we've come to associate with "A Cozy Kitchen," but the artwork in this book is practically frameworthy! The pages are just as beautiful as the photos on the blog, and give you the same "everything is going to be alright if I just make these chai gingerbread cookies" feeling that the rest of her posts do. This book belongs up there on your shelf along with all of your other great cook books (after you color in your favorite pages)! And I mean...a coloring book with a cute corgi?? Come on. Can't beat that. This one is going to all my friends and family for Xmas this year!

Good, but would prefer single sided pages since my markers run right through the page making the other side totally useless. Really cute idea for a gift for a cook with a pretty set of pens or pencils.

Awesome Idea
I love coloring the pages to destress after a long day, and I'd say 90% of the recipes in here sound absolutely delicious. It's a win-win in my book.

I enjoyed looking at this coloring/cookbook
I enjoyed looking at this coloring/cookbook. I do plan on coloring the book and I may check out a recipe or so.What I do not like, and it is my fault for not paying attention, is that both sides of the pages are printed on.It looks like it will be fun to color with some of the recipes graphically presented.

Pretty little book, will be fun to color
Although there are some recipes here, this is not much of a cookbook. The illustrations are very pretty and will be nice when colored. Recipes are pretty simplistic, and an odd assortment but this is a fun stocking stuffer for my mother who is loving the adult coloring craze.
