I bought this for coverup my senior dogs eyes, my dog are old and he has a very bad eyes. The flies are bugging him so much so I bought this to covered his eyes, the straps are too long I have to cut some of to fit him well, he’s wearing daily and feel comfortable to take a nap without the flies not touching his eyes. Fit perfectly for my 20lb dog.

This is not see through and doesn't feel breathable. And it smells horrible.

I have a travel van now and my dachshund/chihuahua mix (I know, stupid combo-she’s a puppy mill rescue) has developed anxiety while traveling. She was supposed to be my travel buddy and I’m trying to help her in any way I can.I ordered a small and it was actually a perfect fit with excellent adjustment abilities in everywhere but the snout (it’s basically a stretchy hair tie). My first try was in the house. My dog flipped out to the point of rolling around and scratching her face to get it off. She hates it. I tried it a second time in the van before leaving-same flipping out and scratching. Then the third time when she just wouldn’t settle down and it managed to stay on for about 10 minutes but I had to tell her noooo when she started to try to take it off. The fabric in mine isn’t as see thru as I’d hoped or she could be closing her eyes - she has no vision with it on.I will try again but if her anxiety is stemming from being carsick I don’t think this will help. She did finally lay down (and sill stress) just to not get it put on again.I highly recommend giving it several short anoint of time attempts before you use it on a stressful situation. Maybe sit and watch tv while petting the dog with it on.I feel like it is made well and nicely adjustable. Maybe a slightly larger snout hole rubberband would be better but not necessary. I don’t think it would work at all on a shitzu or frenchie, it would look like madonnas cone bra on them.

A little hard to figure out how to out on the dog but once on,it worked like a charm!

Our dog is dog reactive, and we thought this might reduce the visual stimulus when encountering a dog. Initial testing with dog videos on the TV were promising. In the world, though, we see a problem we hadn't thought of. While the cap does not prevent our dog from seeing out, it prevents the other dogs from seeing in. The other dog reacts to our facially featureless dog, then our dog reacts in turn. On one occasion, I watched a strange dog calm after I removed the cap. This might be a good choice for watching TV, but we've stopped using it outside.Obviously this does not affect noise, and is in no way a muzzle.

My Belgium Malinois is highly trained but sometimes his training does get the best of him between the training and his natural hearding tendencies. Currently we are in Las Vegas and he seems to think all of the metal animals on the sides of the roads need to be round up and put somewhere safe. This Definitely helps him in the car as well as in grocery stores etc to be more calm and not get to wrapped up in every little possible distraction.

I get the idea and, per one of the listing’s images, this is supposed to be semi transparent under strong light, right? Well ours blocks 100% of light. If I hold a flashlight up behind it NO light comes through. So it makes any dog utterly blind. My guess is their manufacturer started using the wrong fabric and their quality control doesn’t exist. Am returning.

I never thought this would work for my anxious dog at our vet visits. Our vet tried it and it was so effective in calming my dog that I had to get my own for him.

The mask looks solid black but you can see through it, and the muzzle is flexible enough that she can still drink.She went over front door step with no hesitation, and walked in shade and bright sun with no issues at all. She can see where she's going (even at 14yrs) and still happy to sniff around the ground as normal, so doesn't seem to bother her at all.I've gone for XL because of the size around her mouth, even though the straps around get neck will need shortening a bit.One day might not seem a long enough trial, but she's not be able to go out like this for quite some time.

Tengo otra calmingcap que es totalmente opaca que mi perra lleva perfectamente,no le molesta y puede pasear el tiempo q haga falta pq se ajusta perfectamente, había muchas medidas no solo 3 y elegimos la que era de su tamaño,el tejido además es muy agradable.Con esta, que es traslúcida ocurre todo lo contrario,la perra necesita quitársela al rato de ponérsela y después se está rascando la cara durante unas horas.Además el tamaño que mejor se ajustaba le queda muy mal ,flojo y le es molesto.

I have a German Shepherd/Husky who is very reactive in the car and barks at everything we pass. So far this has worked great at stopping that. I only wish it had a loop to attach it to his collar so he can't get it off.
