Well, over the years, our copy grew tired and ragged and worn, as it traveled from vehicle to vehicle, from house to house, and from beds to toy boxes, to backpacks to bookshelves, somewhere along the way Edward the Emu must have snagged it back home to his zoo. When Edward the Emu came on my daughter's head shot around so fast and she fell in LOVE. I then had to buy the physical copy of this book and the sequel Edwina the Emu. They are her all time favorite books- and trust we have A LOT of books in this house. While I find the illustrations a little unsettling, she cannot get enough of them.
