MOD-200 Computerized Sewing Machine with 200 Stitches,12 Buttonholes, Alphabet Stitches, Drop Feed, Hard Cover and Bonus Presser Feet

I am new to sewing and didn't know much when I started. I found this machine very simple and easy to use.

I have the mod 200 and it has a huge array of stitches for me to choose from...omg so many.Then there are the letters...which i thought would be super complicated and...it just isnt. You program the letters of the name you want to have the sewing machine make and then put the pedal to the metal and ....boom done.The machine is awesome...durable and quiet. This is the first sewing machine i have purchased and first non crap one i have used...its fantastic!!

I have had and used a lot of different sewing machines over the years, and honestly have to say that this machine is a pleasure to use. The stitches come out great, and really enjoying not having to use the foot pedal to sew,what a great option to have both. This sewing machine runs very smoothly. Glad I gave this machine a try and would definitely recommend it.

well, this machine worked great for 3 weeks. now it is skipping stitches about 50% of the time, despite the fact that i've cleaned it, replaced the needles and thread, and followed all directions in the manual. missed the return window by about a week so now i'll have to drive it 30 miles to the nearest authorized Janome dealer and here's hoping they can fix it and for free! based on my experience thus far i will never purchase another Janome.

My wife who is a Professional Seamstress and Sewing Teacher ended up buying 5 of these for her school. She loves the speed control feature and they hold up to use by children.
