Works as advertised, but needs some TLC to get best performance'
Pay close attention to the multitude of building steps, and don't glue anything until you're sure where it goes, and in what build order. Note that there are more than you need of some of the smaller parts, which is good, as they are easily dropped and lost. The completed device works as advertised, but the circumference of the discs need careful sanding to remove slight burrs and notches, which otherwise cause the drawing process to be jumpy - you will probably need more fine sandpaper than they supply. I feel that the springs supplied may be too powerful, and it may draw more smoothly if weaker springs are used. Overall, I am quite happy with it, and may try to "reverse engineer" it to come up with more drawing templates.

Excellent value and interesting mechanism!
Really well put together, works as expected and is surprising for everybody who sees it built. Good accuracy in wood cutting, and the fact there are multiple wood colours make it look very special.
