8X to 100X C Mount CCD Microscope Lens, Digital Industry Microscope Camera Lens 25mm Zoom Adjustable Magnification

I'm using it with a HD camera and one can see that the optical quality is not perfect, but it still pretty good and for the price I can't complain. If used on a VGA or NSTC camera I'm not sure one would even notice. At high magnification the working distance is quite small, but I wanted it for the lower end of the magnification range and there the working distance is fine.

Not bad for the price

Purchased for my inexpensive digital microscope setup for lightweight PCB and SMC work, doesn't really adjust the zoom, pretty much just allows you to adjust the focal range so as you move the lens physically closer or father away you can quickly adjust things back into focus. I didn't expect much at this price range, didn't really need much so long as I could clearly make out objects roughly the size of a human hair at a 20cm range, this does just that. Easily connects to any C Mount camera, I use it with one of those generic blue cube models and it screws in nicely with minimal effort. The glass amazingly also appears to be real glass, usually this stuff is plastic, this is an aluminum with glass. Better build quality than expected. Overall happy with my purchase, though I'll probably update sooner or later to a model with an actual variable zoom. Sample quick and dirty shots attached, taken at ~21mm range with a cheap 1080p microscope camera.

Not a bad lens for the price, the focus is a little bit hard to turn but otherwise good.
