Love this. I make ( and sell) jewelry, and use tons of beads and stones. I catalog all of my materials, and this little caliper is very handy and quick for sizing some of my beads. Especially when I’m using natural gemstones and need a matching size. A lot easier than eyeballing them. There’s a little brass knob you move back and forth with your thumb to slide the rule. So easy to use. Smooth as silk. I’m using this great little tool twice as much as I though I would. You know what a pain it is to try and measure beads on a regular old ruler. Don’t buy a cheapie one. This is solid brass, precision tooled. It will last forever. Worth every penny.

The price is great and I ordered it because I misplaced my two others. It measures accurately however if you were expecting high quality I can only say it does the job. Its too lightweight and the slide is not as solid as I would like but it does measure accurately and the price was good and I got next day delivery

Buyer beware. Their vernier caliper is very low quality. The first picture shows how both pieces do not line up and the second shows how thin and unreliable the metal is. When measured against one of my other calibrated calipers at 10mm, this one is short. The measurements get worse with more length. Do not buy this even for a quick pocket caliper.

LOVE this handy little caliper! I needed it to measure beads, jump rings and other jewelry "findings" .... sometimes it's difficult to "picture" the size of a bead, etc., when ordering online. This takes the guesswork out of ordering. I had an electronic version but it was enormous (15" long) and the battery was often dead. This little guy is very compact and does the job just fine!

Small enough yet big enough to measure most any common bolt or nut around the shop. This is good for any toolbox or just to leave in your pocket. You’ll be glad that you had it.

I find it usable. It is a bit bulky compared to the one being replaced . Doesn't feel as precision made as others I have owned.

It's accurate enough for my daily work.
