Excellent value for these disposable plates, and on par with, or better than, most premium offerings.These plates are durable, in that they maintain their integrity even with a respectable pile of food dished onto them. No slippage or floppy/folded plates even when slightly saturated.Additionally, and as a parent, the deep rim on these plates is quite an unlooked for benefit when our 20 month old, and our 4 years old are shoveling food around their plates. The extra depth saved us a few messes that would have occurred with the other brands we typically use.I would heartily recommend these plates.

I am pleasantly surprised at how durable these plates are. They are more heavy duty than the ones I usually get and they are eco friendly, which allows me to not feel so bad about using them. These are in between a plastic like feel to them and a paper feel. I have gone back to work after having kids and found that working at night and not having time during the day to do dishes has made it almost impossible for me to keep up with the kitchen by myself. After weeks of asking and pleading and threatening, I decided to buy these, bowls, and disposable silverware. It is nice to have a break and it motivates my money conscious husband to help with the kid's dishes. These are about the size of our medium sized plates, which I mostly use for the kids. I received these plates at a discount for my unbiased opinion. I recommend these to people that want durable plates that are eco friendly.

These plates are no joke! They are so well constructed and thought out that my husband and I both contemplated if they were fully biodegradable content.We took these camping and tested them out during a very humid day (90% plus) and ate very oily potatoes from the grill, doused them in ketchup for dipping and had a nice runny potato salad on them. They held up very well from not only food content, but grabbing the edges and carrying with one hand. I actually left one overnight on the counter to see how well it would fair from grease and it was just as I left it.These far surpassed our paper plate quality we use for regular compost at our favorite campground and they far outweighed the non-biodegradable options available on the market for strength.I'll admit, just to be sure they started decomposing and we could prove they were going to degrade, we dipped them in water for a bit and I chewed on the edges and sure enough, they started to break down. Gross, I know, but I wanted to make sure I wasn't just getting something labeled as environmentally sound.These plates were amazing and I will definitely buy them again. When you think Eco friendly or Biodegradable you expect to get second rated items. This is not the case with these plates. They are a nice sturdy feel and a nice look to them. They can handle a good bit of weight with only a small issue. The rim is not a sturdy as the rest of the plate so if you are putting some weight you need to make sure you have a good hold. This is common with a lot of higher end plates so I did not take any stars. I was able to leave water in the plate for eight hours with no loss of sturdiness. I boiled water in the microwave for 1 min and it never had an issue. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. I received this discounted product in exchange for a review.

Plates are strong and sturdy. I like that they are biodegradable and now I feel much better about using a throw away product and reducing my carbon footprint.These plates look like your ordinary, backyard BBQ disposable plates .....I challenge anyone to see a physical difference, yet they are worlds apart from your everyday throw away picnicware....they have a conscience!I love anything that is healthy for myself and my planet!
