Eagle1633D Yellow 1 Drum Modular Platform with Drain

I'm giving this 5 stars because of the price and availability, the quality seems fine although i had one that had two broken grate alignment nubs but they won't effect the performance of the unit so i didn't complain. When you are interested in being compliant and keeping your shop floor clean these are just what your looking for.

I bought this to use as a mop sink in an existing closet. All mop sinks I can find were super expensive, and only had center (bottom) drains. I secured the grate to the unit, and (after some difficulty) connected the drain and positioned a spigot over it to fill mop buckets.My suggestion is do not buy the model with the drain, as they took no care or pride in that installation. The 3/4 npt hole has a plastic plug that would not seal on its own (if you use this for a drum epa catch), the hole was not straight through the surface (it is cocked about 20º, so washers won't seal), and it is off center substantially. I wish I did it myself, I was trying to save some time, but ended up spending more money and time to fix this than I would have.

Just what was needed to catch spills

I'll be using this to provide a layer of safety under a diesel drum. I'm pleased with its construction and expect that it will do the job for many years.

I bought this for my wife to use in potting plants. Both soil and water can sift through to tray below. Excess water can be drained into a 5 gallon bucket. Tray can be taken out of doors and hosed down with water, then its ready to go again! Works great.
