ReeseSauce Hollandaise

My local store used to stock this product. Im glad I can get it here. Its convenient to have and just heat up.

It doesn't taste like any Hollandaise sauce I've ever eaten. The ingredient list doesn't remotely resemble the real thing, and half the ingredients look like they might have come from Monsanto. I was using it on Eggs Benedict, and had to add substantial butter to make it resemble the real thing. Probably should have added an egg yolk as well.Fifteen bucks and the cost of two slices of Canadian bacon and two organic free range eggs shot to hell.Garbage. I don't think I'll buy food from Amazon again.

there was seemingly a lot of "crud" around the inside of the seal. Don't know if it was the fault of the product or the storage method. I cleaned the jar and used it--no flavor.

Flavor does resemble Hollandaise, but I would not mistake if for actual Hollandaise. Reproducing Hollandaise in a jar is lot to ask. Would be nice to have preparation instructions. Maybe heating would make it more realistic.

Texture and taste are not what I expected. I ended up throwing the balance of the jar away.

Always nice to have in the fridge for a quick dollop. Keeps a really long time.

Ate two teaspoons and tossed it. No flavor, bland, would not recommend.If I could give it a minus ten I would.
