For clear, must activate between layers
Update: I tried this powder again, this time using the activator between each later. The results were MUCH better and actually clear, so I'm giving 5 stars.Downside of clear is that bubbles or debris are more likely to show, so you have to be very careful with the base layer glue and do lots of thin layers. When applied well, these nails usually last me at least one week and up to two weeks. I like this brand and would buy from then again. I wish they sold their base/gloss layer separately though!Previous, 3 star review:I purchase the Clear color and was disappointed. It's more of a frosted clear than a transparent. I used the serendipity products and did three layers of the powder before moving to the activator and top coat. I definitely don't love it. Although way more effort, I would probably just redo my nails with the pink and white that come in the starter set; would look better for the "naturally" look I was going for.Ignore the flecks in my nails; that isn't the powder, it was in the top coat because I was painting my other hand sparkly purple.I also tried it over other colors (did a French tip for the first layer then added two clear over it, for less work in theory). Didn't work. Was gross and opaque and I took it off. Tried to give it a second chance on it's own before I reviewed it but eh. Still dislike it.Upside is that the container of powder is larger than the starter sets... though in this case it just means extra wasted for me.

Three wishes
Great product! Easy to use and stays on a long time (almost a full month!). It does contain pieces of large glitter in with the gold powder so it requires alittle bit of buffing before you apply a top coat in order for a smooth finish. The jar was larger than expected (same brand from a beauty supply store is show in photo) which is a plus. I plan on ordering in different colors. Seller was fast to ship.

No color change, just an "ok" formula
Picture shows me using 3 coats of color dip, which was well sanded to even it out. The initial "warm" color (peach) is almost a nude on me. Unless I put my hand directly in the freezer and nails touching ice there was no color change to pink. The formula is ok, but didn't last as long or strong as other brands I prefer, like Kiara Sky and Modelones. I won't be buying Color Club again.

Not as advertised
The powder is great & easy to work with. The colors it turns is not what is advertised. Its not green & purple it's actually turquoise & dark blue. If you have short nails it won't really turn at all since your nails will always be warm. So use at your own disappointment.

Color sets really dark
I am so sad about how the color turned out on this one...I had hoped it would come out more of a forest green, but really it is just black with a green undertone. Definitely not the Christmas-y time I was looking for.
