it is very drop proof. The phone is a little heavier because the case is made to protect your phone.

I've bought this case for every iPhone I've owned dating back to the iPhone8. The case itself is a TANK and has saved my phone (and my wallet) on more than one occasion. (Onetime being when I left the phone in the back of my SUV and accidentally slammed the trunk on it not once... but twice... and besides some chips taken out of the case itself no damage whatsoever to the phone).Some comments based on my experience:1) The case does not impede any of the phone's functionality. I've seen some comments on here that it caused some issues with the touch screen and/or buttons on the side but I have not encountered this at all. The only issue I did have was I tried to keep the screen protector on that I bought with the phone (double the protection... right?) but only then did the touch screen not work. Once I removed it the issue corrected itself.2) I've read some people have experienced issues of the case not working with cordless charges. Although I have not experienced this (not working at all) I have noticed that if the phone isn't placed in a exact location on the cordless charger pad it will not work. But that was more of a trial and error situation and now that I know where to place it have no issues.3) As I stated in the beginning the case is a TANK and you can definitely feel some weight behind it. Don't get me wrong.... you're not going to be doing biceps curls every time you use it but it's definitely heavier than any other case out there.(Following comments are based on my personal experience with the case over several years)1) As time goes on and the more wear and tear you put the phone through the paint on the case will start to pull in certain spots.2) If you take a hot shower and bring the phone in the bathroom with you (not literally in the shower but leave it on the bathroom sink while taking a shower) the steam from the shower will create what I call "moisture pockets" under the protective screen. Now this in NO WAY damages the phone but until you take the protective screen off and wipe it down this section is unresponsive to the touchpad.3) The phone will come with two allen wrenches to secure the front and back pieces together. Once you put the case together take those two allen wrenches and put them is a safe spot in your home because they are a pain in the butt to replace.Anyway... that's it... I hope this helped.

Case fit perfectly

This case was a perfect fit, is well made, and very easy to install. It does a great job protecting my phone. Looks great too.

First impressions: Very good protection for my iPhone. Case adds a little weight to it but it’s well protectedUPDATE: people couldn’t hear me when I was on speakerphone and FaceTime. I had to take my phone out of the case and the people I was talking to said they heard me better. Also they said my audio was cutting out and in. Not sure if the metal case had issues with my phones antenna Considering returning this item

We got our grandson the used/refurbished phone, looked like new. Works great and the battery life is excellent even with his constant use.

This case worked great for two months, but after that the “water resistant” element of this case was useless. If I have my phone in my pocket during a workout, my sweat literally gets into the phone case. After every run, I had to remove the case to let my phone dry, until I eventually gave up and stopped using this case. Definitely not as durable as advertised and very disappointed in the quality.
