I rebuilt my Ls early this year, and with not a lot of tools I didn't realize that id need something to make sure everything was flush and gaskets were in place. I didn't wanna do it half As****, But I didn't want to spend a bunch of money as that was tight. so I found this on amazon while scrolling and decided to pick it up worked great had no issues I mean it super simple. And i still use it at the shop now so great investment especially if you do this for a living.

Used it to install the rear seal and worked very well. Don't pop out the plastic insert. It's used to align the seal. Put it (the seal) over the end of the crank and put your fingers at 10, 2, 4 and 8 o'clock and push the seal in. Use the tool to tap the seal in until it bottoms out. (service manual indicates the seal should be tapped in until it bottoms out).

Was skeptical at the low price, but once I received it I was impressed.

The tool was excellent for aligning the covers and made for the easiest rear/front main seal installation I've ever done. Highly recommend.

It works well... a bit snug fitting, but works well!
