Yeah, it’s sticky when you get it. That disappears after about a day and a half even if you don’t wipe it off. I imagine it’s added during the manufacturing process so that the balls don’t stick together. I used a compressor to inflate mine, and not the enclosed pump, and had no problems with it. it bounces high, and it doesn’t injure a kid if it’s thrown at them, and kids also like to jump on top of them. It’s a hit with my two grandchildren, in fact, I had to get two of them because they were fighting over the one that I had originally got. We’ve had it for several months, and it hasn’t lost air, been damaged, or anything else. I really don’t know what these other reviewers are talking about.

If I could give this a 0 I would. For the astronomical price you would think this ball would be amazing. NOT! Pulling it out of the bag it was so greasy, but I thought to myself, “Oh, that’s just to keep the rubber from cracking.” I tried to blow it up and wash the grease off to no avail. Bounced it once on my hardwood floor and it left a grease mark. Not to mention to it terrible to touch. I deflated it and sent it back.

It is sticky and greasy. After washing it, it was still sticky. Absolute rip off as it can be purchased for far less at a discount store. It's simply a cheap small beachball.

Comes with a thick coating which is almost impossible to remove.

Material collects dust and isn't clean

The ball itself is so cute, but it’s covered in a thick oil that gets everywhere. I’ve washed it three times and it’s still sticky.

The ball was covered with oil and only last for one day. Spent $20 for nothing. It is horrible.

I've had the ball for a few days and it HASN'T been able to hold air. I have to put air in it a few times a day so my grandchildren can play with it.I don't know about others but my ball is leaking air around the place where you put the air in it. 🥺
