My Lucy (lovebird) tells me this is so much better than going to the vets to get her nails clipped. Going to the vets is very stressful for birds, just to get their nails clipped.This perch is GENIUS! The wood perch & pumice is perfect, and soft on their feet. Worth every penny.

The main issue I have with this perch is where it screws onto the cage…it’s huge! I barely can fit it through the bars on the cage and it’s large. I don’t know why it’s so large. It is solid and sturdy and adds a different size in width, so my Budgie’s feet have a different grip to hang onto.

The media could not be loaded.  Die Stange hat einen breiteren Durchmesser als ich gedacht habe. Aber da ich viele verschiedene Sitzstangen meinen Kanarien anbiete, passt es trotzdem perfekt. Die Füßchen umschließen die Stangen genau so, so dass nur die Krallen die ,,sandigen" Stellen berühren. Bin, trotz Überraschung über die Dicke der Stangen, sehr zufrieden. Topp.

This is a very nice quality perch. I have an African Grey and this perch’s width is spot on for the feet. I do keep the gravel sides at an angle to encourage ware in long nails as she perches. The fastening system may appear a little un promising, but it holds as tight as the average metal wing nut fastening type. I would buy this product again.

I tested the pedicure perches for heavy metals, toxins, and debris. You dont want a perches that leaches anything. I am pleased with the perches. They are not their 'main' perch as they dont live in enclosures. The XL was perfect for a Northern Mealy (similar feet size to a macaw at 715gram big foot bird, haha). For a SI Ekkie- the Medium fits best.In the medium- I also dont like the plastic attachment. Why not make them both stainless? I gave it one less star as I wish they made the abrasive material around the bottom ... but as you will see from other reviews- people are inept. So I guess having two points without abrasion helps them understand? ... what is this world coming too- seriously. If it doesn t fit in the cage bars.... for any size- man up and get the appropriate size cage for your feathered friend. It is not difficult.
