**Q: How do you turn it off? Not the alarm, but the whole timer**
A: When it counts down to 00:00, it's off. That display doesn't go away.

**Q: How do you increase alarm sound**
A: Hi Customer, 
KTOOM kitchen timer the size of sound is fixed, and this voice sound is big enough that you can hear it in the next room. dont worry about the voice of the digital timer. material is stainless steel .

**Q: How do you raise the volumn?**
A: I experimented and discovered the sound comes out of a small hole in the back. When the magnet is used (like on a frig) the hole is covered, which muffles the sound. If you use the built-in prop and sit it on the counter it is about twice as loud. You could perhaps stick it to a flat frig magnet (without covering the hole) you get more sound.

**Q: how long does the timer sound after counting down to zero?**
A: The sound from the timer is almost nonexistent it is so faint. I would not order another one of these.

I bought these to replace a 5-min timer I use for my tea every morning. I love that I can have one that stays set to 5 min and all I do is push the start button. I use the second one for cooking when I need multiple timers. They sit snuggly out of the way on my range hood. The reason I only gave it 4 stars is that for some reason sometimes the sound is very low. Then the next time, it's fine.
