Poor weave and frays before you get it through the needle and breaks in Sunbrella
I bought this for stitching some nylon strap and it got the job done but it was only for a few inches on each end of some 1" straps. I have a REX walking foot that I have done several covers for my boat with a different brand of thread in blue and white that works fabulous. I went to make a boat flybridge cover with Sunbrella for a fellow boater at the marina and since the fabric is maroon I thought I'd use the black thread that I am reviewing. It failed miserably in Sunbrella fabric breaking several times and I did not ever get one straight run without problems. I ended up ripping it out and just using the white from the other vendor.

This is NOT UV-Resistant thread!!!
This thread needs to be removed from Amazon. It is *not* UV-Resistant, and it is falsely advertised. Furthermore, the quality is horrible.I normally purchase UV-Resistant thread from an extremely reputable business (non-Amazon seller). Unfortunately, they were out of stock for a short while, so I ordered this as a temporary substitute. What a mistake. This is literally the worst quality thread I have ever purchased. In addition to being cheap quality, It is extremely slippery. So much so, it kept slipping out of the bobbin winder, and this was on an industrial Juki machine. This has never happened to me before.I am a manufacturer of products in the marine and automotive industry, and I need to use quality, UV-protective thread. Take a look at the images I've posted: three images of the thread purchased on Amazon, and two images of the UV thread I normally use / buy.Do you also find it suspicious that there are NO references to UV protection on the "Item4Ever" thread? If you were a seller of UV thread, wouldn't you have references plastered all over the label so you can promote the UV protection???? Look at their spool labeling vs. what I normally buy. You be the judge.Again, this item needs to be removed from Amazon as it is an inaccurate description and misleading, at best. If, for some reason, you still want to purchase after reading this review, do note the sizes available aren't the quantity of thread (as someone else mentioned). The sizes have to do with the thickness of the thread...Be warned!

No fading No rotting
Finally found some great thread to use on boat cushions, covers, etc. Same as the expensive stuff from other online boat vendors, but more bang for the buck. I bought 2 spools, one for winding bobbins the other for sewing. Just make sure to get a size 18 to 20 needle. Worked just fine in my heavy duty Kenmore or regular Singer machine. I wouldn't use it if you have a light weight sewing machine used for dress making.

Not V69 quality! Avoid if you're fixing your sails!
The thread that I received is unusable for my requirements. Advertised as V-69, this thread is considerably smaller in diameter than the other V-69 threads that I own. Pros: A lot of thread for the price. Cons: Frays badly when cut

Perfect for my sunshade project
Exactly what I needed. I sewed panels of Coolaroo shade fabric to form this sun shade for our gazebo. I used a 1970 Singer sewing machine. The sun shade looks great and i expect it will last many years.

Strong line
Line is good and strong, time will tell how it holds up on canvas boat cover

I'm not sure if I like it or not
I'm not sure if I like it or not. I have used V69 thread from Sailrite; this thread I bought from Amazon is much more slippery, comes untwisted much easier, and doesn't feel as strong. I'll have to see how it holds up in the sun, I used it to sew a sail cover. I probably won't order it again, preferring Sailrite's thread, but I needed to get this project finished & had 2 day free shipping thru Amazon. I'm both hopeful & skeptical. Lol

Thread has tendency to unravel at the cut end, however with a little diligence on my part it is easy to use and works well on the bags I make. It is strong and appears to be quite durable. Feeds thru my machine easily.

Awesome Polyester Yarn - very tough & hard to break
Awesome Polyester Yarn - very tough & hard to break. My wife likes to use the thread for her sewing machine & I like to use it for hand sewing. Excellent product. Highly recommend
