ColumbiaMen's Fairbanks Omni-Heat Hiking Shoe

Love these shoes they are warm, comfy and look great, have took them on a walking trip and I absolutely love them. They are also waterproof, will leave another review in a couple of months after testing them out abit longer.

The boots are light, comfortable, warm and dry.

Wearing in winter weat

I kept the boots as they are super comfy and sooo warm, but from the photos, I was expecting something which was less bulky. I think the photos look like a standard high top trainer, like something from Dune or Diesel, but they are much more chunky like a walking boot. I guess it’s difficult to get that level of insulation without the bulk.They feel more like a vans skater shoe in boot form, rather than a chunky Converse high top. I kept them for cold walks instead and love them for that, but not what I intended to use them for

Warmest boots I've had, waterproof so far, I'm a size 8 1/2 bought size 10 so I could wear thick socks maybe 9 1/2 would have been ok.

Super comfy, warm, light and waterproof but squeak really badly when you walk. It’s odd and at times, quite embarrassing.

Probably the comfiest boots I had and as warm as toastI’m size 11 in adidas but got myself 10 5 perfect

Nice fit and very light, but worn FIVE TIMES and got wet feet walking through WET GRASS, not a puddle or a river. Waste of money!

Toes are cold in -10C, blisters, over not comfortable and feet have never been more sore from a pair of boots

10-Jan-2024: Good quality product, delivered very fast. I use adidas size 12, hence ordered the same. Glad I did that, perfect with wool socks. let’s see how this pair performs in the Canadian winter; will update later.

Over the years I have bought so many different brands of boots for my husband to try and without fail he hates them. I bought these boots originally in a size 10.5 regular fit, when searching for a light boot that would be water resistant and most importantly, warm. We ride dual sport motorcycles and live in a colder climate so warm feet are important. The size 10.5 regular were sent back because my husband said they pinched his heel. I ordered another pair only this time in wide. He LOVES them! We went riding last week in TN and it was around 45 degrees. My husband splashed through mud and water but never complained about his feet being wet or cold!! We rode for 3 hours so I think that’s a fair test of their performance. The boots have OMNI heat which is a reflective material inside the boot that reflects your heat back to you, while the outer material is breathable and lets moisture dissipate. They also have laces all the way to the top instead of two of the lace hooks that most boots of this type have. My husband sits with his feet under him when working on things in the garage and folds the lace hooks in or bends them and they eventually break. These boots have some great features and the price is reasonable I think for what you get.

These boots are fantastic! They are waterproof, have a good grip, super light, and keep your feet cozy during any cold weather.No need for thick socks as the omniheat keeps the cold out.These are my second pair. First pair lasted about 3 years and we’re going strong until I stepped on a nail. This pierced the boot far enough that they were no longer waterproof.Only knock I would give to these boots is they get too warm during warmer days. When that happens I tend to switch to a lighter boot.Would highly recommend!
