Q: I feel like this is a crazy question but will it work for bras, I want to put holes for supported lace in the front of my bras?

Well I’m a guy but...it should work on most any material but two considerations. One, the side of the grommet that would be against your skin needs to be considered. In such case you would likely want to install them “up side down” so that the smooth rounded side which is normally on top would be in the inside. The opposite side is where the two pieces are gemmed together I expect that may not be comfortable against skin. If they are going to be visible in any way it would not be a clean look as such. Second, my experience with this kit is the cutting tool to punch the hole was not very sharp and I had a difficult time punch a hole through nylon webbing. It is literally a punch you use with a hammer. I ended up using a propane torch to heat the end and melt the holes which actually worked out nicely because it melted the ends of the nylon fibers together to prevent fraying. Not sure how it will work with your material. A hole punch with pliers type grips would likely work better. Grommets part of the kit are good, the punch part not so much. Good luck!

You certainly can do that…. But you might have a problem in the joining process with the finishing set. I’ve used this a number of times, but only using the enclosed tool set with great results.
