Outstanding quality and great value!
I don't often write reviews unless the item is outstanding. This vest meets the standard.I have had an old cotton Columbia vest for years and even though the zipper barely works and the belly clasp finally broke, I've been kind of attached to it's overall functionality. That is, until I ran into a guy a few weeks ago leaving the Glenshire bridge area of the Truckee River. I asked him about the fishing and as we talked, i noticed he was wearing an exceptionally functional Fishpond vest. I hadn't really paid much attention to fishing vests before because the one I had was serving me well. But I instantly had fishing vest envy. When I got back to the house, I began researching the latest, greatest vests from all the manufacturers. I attended the Fly Fishing Show at the Alameda County Fairgrounds last weekend and inspected lots of vests, including several Fishpond vests. Which I really liked. But I didn't like the prices which were in the $175-250 range. I also saw a few cheap imitations with ill-fitting clasps, loose threading and lousy zippers. When I got home, I went onto Amazon's site and looked at the best sellers, which is when I found this vest. For $75, it seemed like it had all the features that the high end Simms and Fishpond vests had but for less than half the price. The handful of reviews were all very positive making it one of the highest rated vests. I decided to click the Purchase button. It arrived the other day.Everything about the vest appears to be top notch. The zippers all seem like high quality. No loose threading. And the functionality is off the charts and even includes 2 "waterproof" pockets, although I will always still use a Ziploc for the phone and keys inside the pocket just to be safe. I know that the two embedded fly holders will come in handy. There are pockets galore on the outside and even pockets on the inside. The water bladder sleeve in back plus the extra storage for clothing layers or a lunch sack will make it a lot easier for long days on the water. There are adjustments for girth as well as adjustments for the shoulder straps. Even includes a ring on the top rear to attach the fish net. My only criticism--and not enough to mark this down a notch--is that the included water bladder is very cheap quality. I could fill it up but could not get water to come out the bite valve. I have other Camelback and North Face bladders I can easily swap so keep this in mind if you decide you want the vest because you'll need to purchase your own bladder if a bladder is important to you.Other than that 1 minor annoyance, I would highly recommend the vest for it quality, functionality and exceptional value.

POORLY MADE - VERY DISAPPOINTED
On first use loop holder fell off and inside pocket zip came clean off. At this rate after a couple of more uses there will be no loops and zips working! Pity, it looked very promising at good price.
