Yes. The Waterboss Float Switch supports both filling and emptying. You simply wire it according to your desired function. There’s no need to buy a separate model.

Do I need a counterweight for installation?

No, not usually. The float includes an adjustable tether, which is enough for most installs. A counterweight is included for setups where tethering isn’t possible or precise positioning is needed.

What voltages does it support?

Water Boss works with both 120V and 220V AC, and also supports 12V or 24V DC circuits — up to 13.3A non-continuous or 12A continuous.

Can I connect this directly to a pump?

Yes — the float can directly control pumps up to ½ HP or be used as a low-voltage signal switch in control panels.
