It's not easy to find good waterproof shoes that can be worn in a corporate environment as well. In my experience, most of the shoes advertised as waterproof can be referred to as water spoof shoes. Fortunately, that reference does not apply to these Nunn Bush Men's Denali Plain Toe Chukka Waterproof Boots. I made sure to wear them in the rain before writing a review. After all, I bought them because they're described to be waterproof. First, let me simply say that they're as advertised: waterproof.While wearing them, I walked on the grass as it was raining. My feet didn't get wet. Neither did my socks. You can see one of the attached photos. I took a video to show how water was splashing from the shoes. I decided not to upload the video because the splashing was not visible. Anyway, in my experience, these boots are satisfyingly waterproof. Now, note that the only thing I didn't do while wearing them was step in a puddle of water. It's possible that these boots could have withstood that. But, I didn't want to take a chance. Second, besides being waterproof, they're comfortable. I recommend these Nunn Bush Men's Denali Plain Toe Chukka Waterproof Boots to anyone who is looking for good waterproof dress shoes for men.

I recently purchased these boots/shoes and I'm very happy with my purchase. I have arthritis in my knees and peripheral neuropathy due to diabetes. Walking can sometimes be difficult. I thought I'd try these because they looked dressy and like they'd provide more support than the comfy Sketchers I've been wearing. Don't get me wrong...I love my Sketchers, but these chukkas provide additional support, while providing soft cushioning and (much to my surprise) are VERY light weight! I've been able to walk better and stand on my feet for longer periods of time. I'm thrilled with my purchase!

I have a lot of problems with fitting shoes so for me to buy them online is not what I like, I normally send them back. I got the nunn bush boots and when I put them on I was very very pleased! They fit and felt like pillows on my feet. I recommend them to anyone that have problems fitting shoes!

This is my second Nunn Bush chukka which says it all for their good, comfortable and consistent fit. There is padding which goes up the ankle. 3 lace eyelets which ensure a snug fit so no blisters for me. The Nunn insole is not a bad cushioning though I have a Dr Scholls inside mine.Sizing is as advertised.All in all, a great shoe for this price point.

I've been wearing different types chukka boots for years. And from different manufacturers. This is the second time in recent history that Nunn Bush hit the sweet spot with these boots along with another, earlier pair of suede boots that were forced into early retirement.I may even get another pair.Comfortable. Near-perfect fit. I wear 8.5M to 9M. No struggle getting them on the first time or after. A minimal amount of space to move, but not enough to raise blisters or feel like water leaked into your shoes.Definitely NOT a half-size up or down for me.Not worn in heavy rain/snow yet but boots handle regular rain showers (remember them?) just fine.They look sharp with jeans though much different with pajamas.

The shoe is extremely comfortable and good looking. Unfortunately, by the 2nd month of use, it was already starting to fall apart. Then, by the 4th month, it looked like the pictures. Took it to the cobbler, and they wanted to charge me more than the cost of the shoe to fix it.
