No7 Age Defying All-in-One Serum Mascara Black

Easy to apply, kind to lashes and great volume

I am not 100% certain whether this is the real thing - hence hesitant star rating - I had been trying to buy this from Boots whilst the 3 for 2 offer less £5 was on and was searching to buy the 'black' version for 3 weeks in-store and on-line. As my last one was coming to an end I looked on Amazon...never fails to satisfy. I have used this particular mascara for over 2 years now. I am ancient (69) and do not have lush lashes, in fact, my pre-hols eye-lash tinter had to paint lashes in on the bottom. As a consequence, even the most expensive brands would clump and clog because, presumably, they had nothing to attach their product to! I always bought a No 7 mascara in between other enticing brands reviewed prior to purchase (you know "best mascara for thinning ageing lashes" searches) and, they were always better to apply. Then I pushed the boat out and tried this Age Defying one and, TBH, was really impressed with it. It didn't clump, I cleanse with oil and so long as I gently used the oil on my eyelashes, it removed the mascara easily. It didn't smudge and, I wasn't allergic to it - brands like Estee Lauder or Benefit even, cause severe irritation. The bonus is that this mascara also contains serum to condition lashes - i have tried serums too and tried going to bed smothered in castor oil or Vaseline - and so there was some improvement in my lashes, not significantly noticeable, but they were better and did not clump up. So, I have used it ever since usually buying in-store 3 for 2 with an offer as it is normally around £15.00. THE GAME CHANGER - A friend kindly bought me UK Lash Christmas 2021. WOW!!! UK Lash really worked, suddenly, I had lashes akin to Daisy the Pantomime cow, at which point, this lovely, non-clumping, serum infused mascara came into it's own. Even my daughter commented. In fact, I began to worry my lashes were too long because they seemed to brush against my specs! Just recently, the lashes are not quite as lush and that could be because the UK Lash stuff - which I do not use every day - is out of date or, because the lashes are in a re-generation cycle or, this mascara, purchased on Amazon rather than direct from Boots is a different formula...or, I have got used to lush lashes. That said, on the whole, I thoroughly recommend this mascara, I have used all of the best brands out there (when I could afford to) and some of the highly rated cheaper brands and this No 7 Age Defying product, for those of us with thin, non-existent lashes, looking for something that doesn't clump is far and away the best. NB I do use a clean mascara brush to brush through my lashes whilst the mascara application is still damp - I have always done this, even with this No 7 product - difference is, it takes but a moment with the No 7 and ages with other makes of mascara. Hope all this helps someone make a decision.

Love this mascara, been using this type for around 7years. Delivery was quick.

Needed a new mascara and bought this one. Not really impressed - sorry. Found it quite "watery" and when putting it on it did nothing then clumped into a solid lump. Doesn't really show up on the lashes either. Wouldn't buy again

Use this everyday and but from the same seller too cannit fault them

Excellent mascara

It stays put all day. It is quite thick so i need to wipe the brush before using. It certainly helps my spares lashes look good. Small amount of smudging under the eyes if it is really warm. Overall I am happy with it

This mascara is so good.it is smooth and the condition of my lashes seems to have improved.

Un ottimo prodotto, facile da mettere con un bel effetto sulle ciglia. Non si muove e sgretola dopo ore e oree soprattutto non macchia sotto occhio. Lo consiglio vivamente.
