Luminos LUM1105 - Emerald Green - Oudoor Water-Based Wood Finish Stain Protector BIO-Based Protector - Green Emerald 3QT

This stain goes on easily, goes a long way & dries very quickly. I had my doubts using such an intense color. However this color matched closely to the blue that was still visible on some antiques I have.The color matched perfectly with one coat which kept the integrity of the wood grain & the pieces.It even worked beautifully on restoring the color on old rusted metal (wire brushed well first). Very, very pleased with this stain & will be purchasing more colors in the future.

Love the color, I purchased the grey mist and used it on bare wood dowels and finials for my curtain rods. I used 2 coats and it turned more opaque. However, I liked the look better that way for my application. Easy clean up, water based. Goes on rather easily, almost like a paint. Besides the color and easy clean up, I really like the way it wears. Very durable, especially with curtains sliding back and forth on them. Very pleased with this product! Would like to try it over shou sugi ban next and see how it looks :)

Amazingly easy to apply with stunning results. I’m seeing a little sun fade/weathering after a couple months, but I did not top coat it. It’s very slight and I’m not concerned given the W Texas sun typically obliterates anything left out in it.

It is more turquoise than green. Pretty color just not as green as I thought it would be

Water based and easy clean up.used it in my spray gun and went on very nicely. Dried fast. Objective of the color was to have it blend in with the grass. As you can see from the picture it was a success.

When I purchased my home, it came with a very old pool and pool deck. It was a reddish color that needed to be repainted. I used Rut oleum's Claret Wine, unfortunately it all peeled off on the deck flooring over the winter. The paint stayed on the lattice and railings. I found out into looking into why this happened was the original "paint" was probably stained and paint will peel off of stain. So, in searching for cranberry stain that hopefully would match the claret wine I found this Luminous Burgandy. At first, I bought a small amount to try and see if it matched well and I was thrilled it did! I scraped and sanded the rest of the other paint that remained on the deck, and I applied this stain. Pictures don't do it justice; it has this beautiful sparkle to it in the sunlight. Nothing crazy, just a hint of gold. I only did a thin layer. Really that was all that was needed. I don't think this stain will come off over winter but if it does, I will edit my review. I have tried scratching it off and it doesn't so I think it will be good. I will have to redo my steps because the paint is starting to come off of them too. You can see in my pictures how well they match. My deck was in really bad shape. I honestly think it's probably 50 years old and I've noticed since staining it doesn't get algae growing on it (and it was a very humid, rainy summer this year). The stain repels water nicely. I think this will add many more years to this old deck's life. The stain is extremely easy to use too. It's very watery so the process goes by fast. It can also be washed out before it dries. I used one small can and 1/3 a large can to stain the whole top. Very happy with this stain and am thinking about trying some of the other colors on other outdoor wood items I have. I highly recommend!

This was clearly an open and partially used can of stain. It arrived in a plastic Amazon bag, not the Luminos box. The seal inside the lid was gone, the lid was not on properly, and it was leaking inside the clear Amazon bag. The color is great and perfect for my project; it is purple when applied to Hemlock. Luckily, there is no issue with the actual product; however, I was charged for a brand new can on stain, not a used one, without original packaging, that was obviously returned.

This is by far the most stunning stain I’ve ever used. One coat gets a nice green, but 3 to five becomes rich and full bodied without hiding the grain of the wood. I used this on a recent guitar project and couldn’t be happier. There is a lovely pearl that ads a lot of depth to the color. The finish dries to a very plastic-like consistency and feels quite durable. It is difficult to sand out. I used a glass finish as well since it is a guitar, and couldn’t possibly be happier.

The media could not be loaded.  This wood stain is an absolute must have... my only complaint is I haven't tried all the colors yet. Trust me you will not be disappointed. It has this beautiful shimmer to it which is mesmerizing. The color is true to the pictures and a little bit goes a long way, so this is cost effective and definitely a stunner of a wood stain. I'd recommend a soft bristle brush, it will really help smooth the bright color out.

Goes on easy, dries beautifully - I did about four coats on an untreated pine dresser and it was gorgeous. Sadly, the smell was way too strong to have it indoors even after being outside for a week. Not sure how others have used it for indoor furniture, maybe with a varnish? I’d definitely recommend it for anything outdoors, but not something you want in your home.

L'imperméabilité de cette peinture est très bonne. J'ai pris une photo de ma galerie après une pluie violente pour montrer la différence entre les bois penturées par ce produit et non penturées. La partie penturée n'a pas d'eau qui pénètre dans le bois, tout cumulée sur la surface.Bref je suis très content que cette peinture peut bien protéger mes bois et prolonger la vie de la galerie.
