Isabella knocks it out of the park with this her 3rd book in the series!
Another exciting book by Isabella. This is the 3rd book in The American Yakuza Series and only leaves you wanting more. Her characters are vibrant with colorful backgrounds and if you have read the other two books you are left wondering what more will come from this exciting series. Luce is a strong woman with much control and until now you might have thought Brook was simply a lipstick lesbian. After this book who do you think is the stronger woman? I now find myself wondering when we will see book #4? There has to be a book 4! Can't Wait! if you like, mystery, suspense and crime with a little sex added in and enjoy sitting at the edge of your seat while reading this is definitely another great book for you.

Great story line, but is in need of some good editing.
I have really enjoyed this series, but have noticed that all three books are in need of a good editor. There are inconsistencies in the story line, for example the author kept referring to Brooke's injury sustained from her kidnapping as a stab wound when she was actually shot. There were a ton a grammatical errors also. These type of errors were present in each book of the series. That is why I have not given five stars. The story is worth five, but the constant need for editing was bothersome as I read. I would still recommend this series to anyone who likes strong female characters, a lot of action, some romance, and a bit of erotica for good measure.

Outstanding!
This is a superb story. A thriller at its finest. Mixing romance with mindblowing gripping actions. The author describes very vividly the abuse and the aggression inflicted by two enemies of the worst kind. This, without getting into unnecessary detail. It is well written, very intriguing and with twists you won't see coming. I had a hard time putting it down. Yes, another outstanding part of an awesome series and it was absolutely worth waiting for.

I love this series and was excited for Razor's Edge to be released. It was well worth waiting for. I read it from start to finish in one sitting I just couldn't put it down. This is a series I will re visit as I eagerly await the next phase of Luce and Brooke's lives.

maybe if I had started from the beginning or knew more about Japanese culture I would have enjoyed it more
Razors EdgeYakazuta Luce has been kidnapped and is being held prisoner by the Russian mob. This after they attempted to kill her girlfriend Brooke and Luce in turn kidnapped the leaders wife and they want her back. While Luce is missing Brooke must step up and make some difficult decisions to keep Luce’s organization in place. This is I believe the third book in this series and I’ve not really read a lot about Japanese organized crime, maybe if I had started from the beginning or knew more about Japanese culture I would have enjoyed it more, my biggest problem though was I felt that the two main characters Luce and Brooke were incongruent from scene to scene. I would imagine being a Yakazuta, you’d have to be somewhat of a bad ass, but I didn’t find Luce to be. On the flip side, Brooke was portrayed to be a good girl out of her element, and she had more bad ass moments. There were also some editing issues that detracted from the story. I rate this book 3.5 hearts.*** reviewer for Romance Authors that Rock***

I'm upset about the way the book ended
I don't like the way you ended the book it left a lot Open. I'm assuming that this is the last book I think you should have had more of a conclusion Play otherwise I love the book also I think it was a little too short.

Morality isn't black and white
If you've read books one and two in the American Yakuza series, you'll be looking forward to getting this one and you won't be disappointed. Isabella has created a lead who lives by a strong code of ethics while committing hideous crimes. But there are reasons and it makes sense. When you're fighting the Russian mafia, morality isn't black and white. And when you've been betrayed by those closest to you, morality is a difficult concept to understand or accept. Luce Potter is complex, kind yet brutal, controlling yet happy to let go in certain circumstances and in love with Brooke but love never goes smoothly in Luce's world... recommended if you like your lesfic just a little bit different and your character's a little bit mean

Flashbacks are all well and good but the author could have added something new
This would have been 5* if the author didn't copy and paste some parts from previous books. Flashbacks are all well and good but the author could have added something new. That was very cheeky of the author and I felt cheated. I debated about putting it a 2/3 rating instead but the actual story was really good. Because of the ending I'm assuming there will be another one and I sincerely hope there won't be any copy and paste situations.
