Q: How long does each coating last? And does it protect against scratches or just strictly water resistant?

I put on two coats on two different cars, properly prepped, and I waited 24 hours for it to cure before putting a second coats.... on both cars it only lasted about 3-4 weeks... I'm pretty disappointed by the durability of it. Everyone who seems to be giving this 5 stars seems like they just put it on, sure it's slick on the first week and I was excited too(then again any decent wax will last the first week).

Q: Any one use this on top of black wax? i have a older vehicle with minor scratchs that i cover with meguiar's black wax, then put high gloss wax over.

I have used this product for over 2 months now and it works excellent for a starter ceramic coating. I have used this and waxed over it after it cured and i have done the opposite cleaned car then waxed and then sealed that ahine look under this cmx and it worked just fine. As it states it can be used alone as protecting coat or you can use it as a topper over a shiny waxed or glazed car.

Q: Can this be used on painted ceiling fan blades, without damage? I'm thinking the product may help to prevent constant dust build-up on the blades.

Yes it can be used but don’t forget any wax type products will make static and that will collect dust
