When I opened the package, I saw that the hot chocolate bombs box was a bit banged up. I figured it just got tossed around during delivery, so it wasn't anything to be worried about. But after I slid the chocolate treats out, I saw that one of them was completely broken. They were hollow, so it was totally logical that something like this would happen after being tossed around.The taste is good, I guess. With just boiling water, it's okay. It tastes a bit watery but delicate. I usually have to add sugar to make it sweet enough for my sweet tooth. Although cinnamon and vanilla extract definitely made it better. I boiled milk with sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla extract with the third and final hot chocolate bomb. That's how to make it extra decadent. It doesn't completely melt until you mix it in, but that's what to expect.

I purchased 2 packages of these. In BOTH packages [that went to two different places], were smashed so they couldn't be used as CocoaBombs. Some even had the foil separated or only half on. The box they come in is flimsy and substandard. Very thin cardboard packaging so there was ZERO protection for them. I would never get these again, and never recommend them to anyone.AND, even if you try to scoop up the broken pieces to use in milk, the outer chocolate clumps at the bottom of the cup, and doesn't actually melt into the milk. Very generic flavor of the cocoa as well.I would never recommend these to anyone.

Love the way these bombs make an excellent cup of hot cocoa. Great taste, easy to makeAmazon shipping packers need to do a better job of packing. Box arrived almost open and two of the bombs were smashed. One Tape to secure box isn’t enough to keep box from opening. Need to do better instructions for boxers.

I was overall disappointed in these cocoa bombs. They were just chocolate that melted with marshmallows inside. There was no extra cocoa powder or anything to help with the flavor of the drink.For me it didn't have enough flavor and I ended up adding the same amount of cocoa powder that I would if I didn't have a cocoa bomb in my drink.They did melt easy. Little harder to stir in since it was melted chocolate.

The hot chocolate was pretty creamy, but it was super sweet. I'm not a fan of excessively sweet stuff, but I can see that this would be a lovely stocking stuffer or addition to a birthday package for most people.I looked for high fructose corn syrup, and didn't see it listed specifically (although there was some sort of "sucrose syrup" mentioned that may have just been fancy rewording) but I did develop a massive headache and a slightly upset stomach, which normally happens if there's secret HFCS in the ingredients.

The product was damaged when I received it which broke my heart as I love my cocoa every night. Considering my income is limited I was amazed to receive a refund...the bombs would have been nice but I'm happy just the same so Thank you.

What a great idea, pour hot milk onto these balls and they melt into hot chocolate with marshmallows. Our guests loved them!

I purchased this item to add with other gifts for a co worker from India(she always brings me back a gift when she goes back to visit). I wanted to get her a few relaxing and meditating items to relieve stress and enjoy “her” time as she is nursing an injured knee. I knew from the moment I picked up the box that something was wrong with it when I heard pieces sliding around. I went to open it to see how much damage there could be and if it was salvageable and clearly someone beat me to opening it as the box was already open on one side. As you can see from the pictures, the bombs were haphazardly wrapped, torn or non existing in some spots. The chocolate looks as though it was a forgotten novelty product from years ago and what I assume were once marshmallows, are now the texture of those butter mints that stick together in the candy dish at all our maw maws homes.
