This particular distributor has the most reliable consistent chews of any company I have purchased these fromIn other words they are consistent in their thickness length etc.However I have made this purchase at least three times already and there are more like 21 shoes per bagNo matter what company I purchase of her back choose from is always a problem with the number of Jews but again this company has the most reliable and usable choose unlike other distributors that I will receive several Very thick chews and not able to give to my dogI think the best way to advertise is by weight not number of chews

Our 35 lb mixed Australian Shepherd loves these and has long been part of our dental maintenance for her. However the last 3 packages have had questionable extremely thick pieces. Quality is not what it was. Our dog now has a fractured tooth that must be removed. The chews are the only hard thing she chews on. Now we have nearly a $1'000 bill for her dental remedy. The price is high for these chews and if we can only use the thin ones we are not sure it is worth it.

My dog loves these "tooth treats" and so do we! They help keep her breath fresh and her teeth clean. Every year she goes in for her annual checkup she always gets a clean bill of health for her mouth. This seller is great. Quick delivery, great price, and a good product. I've ordered a few of these from other sellers on Amazon and the pieces look old and smell weird. So happy to have found these and now we are all set for 3 months! Will buy again! Way better than greenies in my opinion!

My dogs love these chews. Even though they are only 20 lbs, I get them the large size and they are finished with the chew in 20 mins. Because it's a strip instead of a knot shape, I don't have to worry about them chewing until their gums bleed. The HEXtra is especially good at helping with tarter build up, but not a complete substitute for brushing or teeth cleaning. When bought in bulk on Amazon, the price is better than having to buy them at the vet.

Recommended by my vet - much cheaper to purchase on Amazon. Really does work for my dogs. Has prevented us from having to get more frequent dental cleanings at the vet under anesthesia. We have two "bigger" dogs - usually their teeth aren't as bad as small dogs in terms of plaque, etc, but we got a golden retriever and a golden retriever/catahoula mix that are prone to plaque (of course!). This has saved us money over the years and has helped keep the dogs' gums healthy.

Chet HEXtra Premium Chews do the job that they're intended to do. They do reduce the amount of plaque and tartar buildup. They do sweetened the dog's breath to some extant. But the company that makes them has no quality control. I'll get 2 or 3 bags and the pieces are all about the same siza. Than the next bag I receive is about half the weight of the other bags. The pieces are so thin and soft that it would be unsafe to give them to the dogs. I get these because my vet recommended them.

Originally bought from my vet. Have two, 20lb. Pups who lovethem. I buy large& cut in half for them to share. It is quite enough for each and quite cost-effectivefor me.Recommend watchingpup as chew gets smaller & tossing it before gets ‘chokable’ size.

We've been giving each of our dogs one of these after breakfast every day for years. The dogs just love them, and even as senior dogs they still have clean teeth. The only criticism I have is that the size of the chews is not uniform. In any bag you will find paper-thin, bendable, small ones, as well as huge, 1/4-inch thick ones, and every size in between.
