Wahl #10 clipper guide comb, 1&1/4.

This fits my old Conair clippers perfectly. I ordered a #12 "universal type" guard made by a different company and a different seller on Amazon at the same time that I ordered this Wahl #10. Ironically enough the both arrived on the same day. I opened up the boxes, yes they both came in a box too big to fit in my mail box what a waste. Anyway, my first thought was "Wow what a difference in quality" the quality of the guards is apparent at first sight. The Wahl #10 is in my opinion a professional salon quality guard that's built to last. The "universal type" # 12 is a total waste of your money the teeth are some kind of flimsy plastic like material. The Wahl Brand is well worth the price. If you have money to waste buy another brand from another seller first then come back here and order the Wahl and have your own "Wow what a difference Wahl makes" moment like I did. Or save your cash and buy Wahl to begin with.

I use this for the top of my head and use a number 3 for the sides and back. A number 8 was a little too short for the top, so this number 10 is perfect.It is plenty sturdy enough. I have a couple of sets of Wahl clips that I've been using for over 10 years and this one is just as sturdy as those are. Sure it's taller because of the size, but it's just as sturdy. Not sure what some of the other reviewers are complaining about.It snaps on perfectly to my old Wahl electric trimmer and also snaps on perfectly to my new cordless trimmer, just like all of my other clips. Nothing loose or flimsy about the snap or the blades.I only wish they sold these in 2 or 3 packs. Would be good to have extras in case something happens to this one, especially since this size is never included in the multi-packs. Guess I'll have to order another one.

This guard cuts my hair at the perfect length. It does what it is supposed to do. You are still able to style your hair with this guard and avoid having the buzz cut look.Giving it 4 stars because the material and quality could be better. It's flimsy and I wish it was more sturdy. It seems like it can break easily. The guards that come standard with your Wahl clippers are of a better quality.Nevertheless it's a good product and it will save you money on professional haircuts.

Great product because it cuts my hair even and functions like the 1" #8, so I am pleased with this Wahl #10.For those who are wondering whether it will fit the Remington Lifetime clipper, it does not attach with this brand because the metal trimmer is a different size; The Remington Lifetime clipper and Wahl are both in my possession, and I tested them.

I cut my son's thin, fine hair with a #8, and I felt that it was too short. 8 is the biggest size my clipper set came with, so I started looking around to see if there were bigger sizes. I read reviews that the #12 is hard to use, so I tried the #10 first. I used the 10 on the top and a 5 on the sides and my son's hair looks great! His hair isn't sticking straight out at all. I don't even think I need to try the 12.I'm very glad I got brave enough to try home haircuts. He's little, and no one cares right now if his hair is perfect. I'm saving $10-15 every 6-8 weeks by cutting his hair at home, just like dad's!

I am so glad I bought this! We have the 24-piece Wahl standard clipper set but the largest guard included with the set is a #8 which is just a little too small for the top / longest layer of a man's haircut, in my opinion. This guard is quite long, and thus the prongs do shift around a bit while using it, but not so much as to affect its utility. I've read that this is more of a problem with the #12 guard which is even longer (larger) and therefore more delicate. This product arrived as described, it is a genuine wahl guide clip. The size is #10 and should've been added to regular hair clipper kits because it is so essential. I believe #8 clip is 1" and #10 is 1.5". It's great for short styled hair on the top of your head without looking like you got a buzz cut. You'll be left with enough length to still put gel into. This will fit some corsair and oster clippers but won't fit as tight. Fits snugly on all wahl clippers that accept plastic guide combs. Tip when using: don't push forcibly down on your head while you cut with this because the combs spread apart leaving an uneven cut. This is not a product flaw just a technique critique.

I bought this to replace one just like. I used the old one once a month for about 8 years. I think the only reason it broke was because it was stores smoothed in a bag. The new seems sturdy and good quality.

Very pleased with the clipper comb, it fits my bablis clipper perfectly & the longer size suits my husband, who was complaining its too cold to have his hair as short as the standard 25mm. At 32mm his hair still looks tidy & it does a lovely neat job of it without requiring much skill on my part as long as I keep the comb flat to his head. It is harder to get the hair to go into the cutter at this length, but I found if I combed his hair the opposite way with a hand comb first, that worked & we are both pleased with the result.

There are plenty of clippers out there. Some are 'standard' size; others are narrower format. Consequently many retailers specify that Wahl combs will fit only Wahl clippers. It makes sense to reduce the returns of unsuitable items.But this standard size Wahl 32 mm comb fits my Babyliss PowerLight Pro perfectly.32 mm combs are seldom bundled with clippers. The longest comb in my Babyliss pack was 25 mm.The quality of the comb, the injection moulding marks and Wahl moulded branding indicate that this is the genuine article and not a 3D print.

The guide comb is stamped with the Wahl name making it seem like an original. It is, in my opinion, on the flimsy side looking like it may have been 3d printed.It is worth pointing out that I have no experience of Wahl combs and if they are all like this. I own a Surker clipper and the combs are quite rigid. This comb fits my Surker clipper perfectly and does a good job at what it was bought for.

This #10 clipper guard fits my WAHL Homepro Basic clippers perfectly.Nice and tight fit, nice snap when fully in place. No movement at all.If I had a minus point the actual 'teeth' aren't as rigid as the guards that came with the original product.But I've used them twice and it doesn't hinder the process of trimming my hair.So glad I bought them, gonna save me a ton of money in haircut bills

I half expected this to be flimsy and bent when it arrived like the original Wahl clipper set but was happily mistaken. It is quite a bit sturdier than the smaller sizes and does the job nicely, better than expected.
