Dog didn’t like it
My dog didn’t like this at all, so I can’t review it.

A fantastic find for a very sensitive tummy
I know this review is going to sound too good to be true but it is totally genuine. I am so chuffed with this product and the affect it has had on my furry friend. My 11mth old Jack Russell has had the most sensitive tummy (plus is very fussy) I have ever come across and trying to find a dog food that had a high nutritional value that he could tolerate (suffered diarrhoea) and want to eat has been difficult. He was getting far too skinny until I found this. It can be fed as both a dry or moistened food ( he likes it moistened) plus it is suitable from puppy to senior. I have been onto an independent website that reviews dog foods where this food is rated 94% nutritional value, so no need for top up vitamins/minerals, which I had been having to purchase as he would and could only eat a brand which rated poorly for its nutritional value. This is a great cross between dry and moist food with the raw food benefits in its nutritional value. The only negative thing I would say is that I have only found it in 1kg bags so not great if you have a big dog to feed but does mean it is nice and fresh. For my wee Jack Russell it costs about £38 a month and I have a happy healthy (better coat, weight and settled) dog.

Not great.
I have read up extensively on dry kibble and the process behind it leaving it nutritionally deplete so thought I'd try this for my dog. Looked like pellets of dry hay, not unlike straw litter, didn't smell particularly meaty, but not offensive either. She liked it, ate it all every time ( saying that there isn't much she wouldn't eat). But she started vomiting, several times a day, little amounts here and there. When I thought about what was new in her diet this was the only thing, stopped feeding it and the vomiting stopped. Back to Pooch and Mutt as she tolerates it well.

Too expensive not value for money
Purchased this food as an alternative for our BC to try, consulted our dietician vet who mentioned DCM so I contacted the company who passed the queries on. The response was woolly and inadequate not addressing my concerns. Not only that I was surprised how small the bag actually was (my mistake).Don’t waste your money, my personal view is that the company is run by executives interested only in profit.
