We have had a terrible habit of bringing the mail in and piling it on the kitchen counter. During the week it often went untouched for days because we're just too busy to sort through it. As I pay the bills online, this wasn't actually catastrophic until I couldn't find something important such as new insurance cards, etc.I ordered two sets of these wall files (4 total) determined to both sort mail before it got lost or accidentally thrown away, and also to reclaim the counter top. Handy Texasman easily attached them to the end of a row of upper cabinets in the kitchen, where they look just fine and aren't very obtrusive. Now whichever one of us has the mail in their hands sorts into different files (magazines, catalogs, that which is probably junk but should be looked at, and "other." It just feels good to have some degree of organization and I've set myself the goal of going through everything on Friday and either discarding or scanning the important stuff for digital storage. The magazines and catalogs go to the chairs where we read and I'm trying to stop hoarding magazines (oh, the recipes. The decorating hints. The landscaping ideas. I must keep them) and scan in the pictures etc. I want to keep. Then I take the magazines to the waiting room where I work and let others enjoy them.They are fairly sturdy. Not like a wooden file, but they can hold a couple of pounds of material and if you use the proper mounting screws (with anchors if going into sheetrock) they will serve very well. Very pleased.

Get that stuff off you're writing place. Will even hold a medium sized loose leaf, but wider would be better.

I am so glad I found these wall files. These wall files are great and the price was perfect. They came as a 2-pack and cost me less than what I would have paid for one in my local office supply store. The wall files came neatly packed with 6 mounting strips (3 per wall file, but don't look to be that strong) and 4 screws (2 per wall file).I wanted a secure hold without creating holes in my door or wall so like another reviewer mentioned, I went and bought some 3M Command large picture hanging strips and used 2 on one of the wall files (2 strips will hold up to 8 lbs) and I mounted the wall file on the inside door of a downstairs closet just above my daughter's bookbag. The Command strips are secure and strong and I feel really confident these will hold. This wall file will be used to hold file folders with my daughter's short or long-term homework assignment papers or other important forms that need to be returned to school on future dates. And.....I have the second wall file for future use. We are ready for an organized school year!

I bought several of these in the clear plastic to stick around my house in places where I often leave my phone, keys, rings, etc. sitting around to cut down on misplacing my important things. They all arrived in great shape, boxed in twos with paper between to keep them from scratching each other. no cosmetic issues or damage on my shipment of eight of them. They are just slightly "bendy" but not in a way that would cause any issues. Just a very slight give to the plastic that might be an issue if you're using it for a really heavy-duty kind of purpose. They look great and they were easy to put on the wall. I used the sticky tabs that are provided (screws are also provided) for one holder and I used 3M strips for the rest. Everything installed well. These seem like a good value.

Arrived on time (overnight) and got immediately installed. Slight scratches on receipt. As one of the file folders was hidden inside a cabinet, it was of no real concern. The other one, waiting to find a use elsewhere in the office.
