It works well but...
The media could not be loaded. I bought this for oil changes in my boat. Sucking the oil out is the only way. I thought an electric pump would make quick work of the job. Nope, my one complaint is that the transfer is so slow (see video). I would estimate about 1 qt or liter per 15 minutes. The video is showing flow from warmed up 20w40 diesel oil.The pump is probably adequate, but the suction tube is small, so it can go down a dipstick tube, and long. That creates a lot of resistance. The tube is probably 6’ long. I may cut it down to see if that helps.I had no other problems with the unit. Seems put together well and it was complete. Im just disappointed in the speed.One thing that would be nice is if it had quantities marked on the side of the jug. It would be nice to verify the amount pulled out of the engine.REVISED: I used this the change the oil on my truck, a 2016 Tacoma. This time the oil was well heated after driving on the freeway. It extracted 6 quarts in about 10 minutes of 0W-20. Thats a pretty thin oil, but thats what a lot of newer cars use nodays. I have to say this was pretty good performance and I bumped the rating up to 4-Stars.As for the boat, I will try it next time right after pulling into the dock and the oil is at full temp. May make a difference. The first time I used the pump the oil was warm from idling a few minutes, but not hot.

Thing is slow as can be and has a leak.
Most the oil isn't even making it into the tank. There's a leak from the pump to the tank. For 190$ I was expecting a better quality item. Unfortunately I purchased in April and am finally changing the oil to the boat. I'd likely be returning this thing if it was inside the return period

Worth it
Highly recommended for inboard boat owners. Makes changing the oil while the boat is still in the water so easy. Mess free, simple oil change without getting under the boat.

Take the cap off when sucking oil
Nothing bad to say about it great suction good for lawn mower and other small engines
