Like tire chains on ice
These work as promised... I already have roofing boots (Thorogood) but they don't quite feel secure at steep angles. So I bought a pair of these and used HD velcro to attach them to the bottoms of an older Thorogood pair. The result is pretty amazing... so much so that you have to learn to trust them. They will support you just fine at angles where your mind is telling you this is crazy. You still have to walk sensibly, mindful of contact surface area and angles, but these are like tire chains on ice.
