Sunforce Solar String Lights 10.67M/ 35 FT with Remote Control

I bought a set 2 years ago and loved them. Recently I ordered 2 more sets but one had bad bulbs and no remote the other had no remote. They have since been returned and replaced and now one bulb quit after 5 days. I messaged the seller but haven’t heard anything.The first set I bought, I could just click the remote at the patio door and the lights came on or went off. Now they’ve added an infrared eye so you have to position the solar panel to somehow be able to point directly at that sensor. Still work great minus one bulb but it was so much better without the infrared red.Gives a nice ambient light in the evening.

I bought an original set at Costco and these appeared to be the same in the photos. The remotes are different and do not work from anywhere like the first set from Costco. Of the 2 sets I ordered, only one set works. We have changed batteries, the solar panel and nothing.You have to be reasonably close to turn the working one on with the remote while the original set you can turn on from inside the house.Not very happy and would not recommend them.

Well made. Look great when illuminated. The remote is the extra finesse to an already impressive product. Once assembled and seen working. I wish I’d bought more sets for friends and family at this great price.

Was concerned reading the negative reviews but purchased anyways as the price was right. I had none of the issues others were reporting. If there was issues with a light not lighting the tab inside the socket is easily lifted gently with your finger to make contact with the bulb. The remote works as advertised and the brightness is more than enough for what the use is for, and if too bright just undo a couple of bulbs or every so many.I would have given full stars but one of the bulbs is deformed from manufacturing but does not affect the use, so I am accepting that as there is always something from the manufacturer point of origin. But out of the 2 that was purchased, that was it.

At first I bought these for our wedding which we ended up having to cancel. Then I was like heck they will work for camping and we made use of one of the two strands we bought for our camp sight. It worked so great! I packed them away not thinking much until a storm hit our area. We have been without power for days and still looks like it may be a few more days before power is restored. We have been charging the panels during the day and using the light strands at night and we have so much light inside it’s fantastic. Even if having for this storm alone made these more than worth the cost of this purchase. The room in this photo was completely black dark no light at all and you can see how much light these provided us. I never thought I would be using them for emergency preparedness but it’s perfect. Durability wise I do get concerned with the occasional when these are moved around a Bible will not light and they easily become loose and need to be twisted back into place. I’m Laos concerned with replacing a bulb as I’m not sure where to find a replacement of one goes bad. We did not receive a remote for either set of lights but it would have been nice as it says the eye are included.
