This overheat and die only use 3 hours ,hard earned money wasted

Had to return, wouldn’t work for my big jobs.

I got this as a refurb and it was dirt cheap. But everything worked, and even though it has a tendency to spit paint in ugly droplets if the pain is too thick, it does a pretty good job. I painted 6 doors in my back yard and found this to be sufficient to control the fan shape and rate of flow. It REALLY needs super-thinned paint to work, but cleans pretty easily and gave me no troubles. This is a pretty good value for the money and while it will not replace a good HVLP sprayer, it also requires very little skill or effort to get it working!

When I opened the paint sprayer everything looked normal, except that the paint sprayer was entirely assembled, and there was an empty small box inside the package. I thought this was odd, but I mostly ignored it. When I used the sprayer for the first time I was super disappointed! Hardly anything came out, and it was sputtering like crazy! So I thinned my paint, Thinking that was the problem. This made no difference. I decided to give up, and paint my bathroom by hand. I took the sprayer into my kitchen to clean so that I could return it. As I was cleaning it I completely disassembled the spray nozzle,(I am assuming all the small nozzle parts are what was supposed to be in the empty box) and I discovered it was clogged with blue paint. I was painting my bathroom white! After throughly cleaning I decided as a last measure to run clean hot water through the gun and it worked like new. I am happy to say that I didn't have to paint my bathroom by hand, however I am disappointed that someone tried to pass off a used faulty paint gun off as new. Oh well, I'm just glad it works! I would recommend!
