Solid 2 wire connector
I am installing a new engine into an older car and needed to replace the now mismatched connectors from the old car harness and the new engine harness. These connectors offered a high quality, easy to use, and affordable solution. I've used 3 connectors so far and the results of been excellent.

2-pin connectors
I bought these to use on a bicycle with a removable dynamo front wheel. Assembly is a bit fiddly, but I expected that. The first crimp failed my pull test and wasted a pin, but again, no surprise. The next four crimps were fine. I could not get the tabs to click/lock on the first female shell, but they locked on the second one. In use, these connectors give excellent weather sealing, and a positive lock when mated, but easy to decouple without the need for tools. I would say there’s just a small learning curve to making them work.

Good waterproof connectors
Good waterproof connectors. Love these connectors. Used them outdoors on some linear actuators that move my solar panels. Been outdoors now for a month in many rainstorms and no problems with water intrusion yet. Only one gripe the connections are a little light and flimsy. So I took one star off for that.

Gotta get connected!
A must have if you do any type of automotive electrical work. I used these to tie in some auxiliary lights on a KLR 650 and they were very easy to use.

Excellent quality
These have worked wonderfully and I have yet to have an issue with one of these connectors. I've used this style from 1 pin up to 4 pin and they all work great. I have dozens of them on my car for a Holley engine harness. If you're trying to raise your wiring quality I highly recommend these. Way cheaper than Delphi or MilSpec connectors. Don't know what all the hate about for these connectors are from some of thr reviews... seems like people just don't know what they're doing or don't have the right tools for the job. Fair warning to those less experienced, you will need a proper crimping tool to assembly these correctly, and a special pin to dissamble the connects if that is ever needed (I have yet to disassembled one). These are ment for low amperage usage (Under 20 amps) and for smaller guage wire, 22-16 guage.

OK, but these have issues to be aware of...
First, the "instructions" (such as they are) are printed on both sides of the lid, so I'm not taking of stars for that. But I do take issue with the gauge-rating. They'll kinda-sorta crimp onto 22awg wire, but the wire easily pulls out. I had to back them up with solder. I also take issue with the yellow, silicone plugs, with 22awg wire: there's a gap between the wires insulation & the plug, which will allow water to pass. NOTE #1: I did not notice an issues when crimping 16AWG wire. NOTE #2: Wire mfgrd in foreign countries doesn't always meet AWG sizes, even though the mfgr claims it does. The diameter of the copper is usually a tad smaller. For example, 22AWG wire not mfgrd in the US, might actually be closer to 23AWG. This often causes crimping issues. If your crimps pull off easily, check your copper diameter! My new 22AWG crimp technique is: 1) Strip the wire, & tin the leads. 2) Slide on the plug, & a small heat-shrink sleeve. 3) Shrink it down right up against the end of the insulation. 4) Crimp the wire, & crimp the plug. 5) Reflow the crimp-joint, adding a tiny bit of solder (if necessary). 6) Clean off any rosin with acetone, then alcohol (old-school NASA & HIREL soldering training). 7) Insert the wire into the housing. That technique produces are reliable, waterproof connection.

Nice kit for custom connections
I was originally going to buy pre made pigtails of this kind. But the thought of having splices makes it not so clean looking. At first it seems a bit complicated. But after examining it for a bit it is a smooth assembly. I have a nice electronic soldering station so dialing the right temperature made it easy. For my application I didn’t need it to be waterproof but the connection is.

Handy connectors
I decided to use these connectors for a lighting installation on my vehicle. They were easy to install and look like a factory installation. So far, they have worked well.

Perfect for wiring LED lights on the truck without worrying about rain messing things up. Connectors snap together with a nice click and the rubber seals keep water out even after a hose blast. Crimp pins feel sturdy and handle 16-22 AWG wire no sweat. They include a decent crimp tool substitute, but I used my own for a tighter bite. Twenty sets give me plenty of extras for future mods. Finished install looks super clean, no loose wires flopping around 😎.

The design and product are very good. However not having extra pins has meant that every failed crimp results in a useless assembly. Dear Manufacturer/ how about some extra pins to allow the expected failed crimps while assembling for the general public. We are not all electricians.

These connectors are simple to work with. All the connectors that were assembled while the vehicle was in the garage were great and easy to plug together and unplug when testing. 10 minutes after the vehicle was moved outside into the cold temperature of -8°C (17.6°F), all the retaining clips broke right off the 12 connectors when connecting them together. WAS NOT HAPPY AT ALL!!! Brand new connector installs held together with tie wraps until I find some more weather friendly ones. If you live in the southern warm climate I would recommend, otherwise I would not recommend.

These connects are great for use on ATVs and tractors, that’s what I have been using them for. Makes it easy to connect and discount any lights that you are adding. Once you get the hang of how to use the crimper it’s very easy, I watched the video a couple times and was good to go.
