I bought OTOSTAR Soft Velvet Steering Wheel Cover for my Highlander. The cover fits snuggly. It requires some effort to apply. The soft felt surface feels very nice. I was expecting it to be a little more plush and give slightly under pressure. It is very firm, fitting tightly to the wheel, it takes on the hardness of the steering wheel. The outer layer is very soft and pleasant but the surface doesn't have any give or impressionability. This can also make it a little slick in your hands as the outer surface is very soft but the underlying surface is very hard. I don't think it is any slicker than the oem steering wheel but it also doesn't offer any extra purchase for your grip. It feels good, I am still using it, rated accordingly.

I bought this cover to replace my old one (black, fake leather) and give my car a pop of color with the purple. It was a little difficult to get on, but that just makes me feel better about it staying on. It can be a little slick, but I haven't had any issues. The color is perfect and it's soft. So it did exactly what I wanted. Now for what I didn't expect... I live in Phoenix so of course my car gets HOT. To the point I can't touch anything. The material of my old cover made it impossible to drive away without waiting for it to cool down or putting a towel over the steering wheel. THIS cover though... while it's still warm of course, it doesn't hurt my hands to touch and I can drive away immediately (or once I'm able to get the scalding hot selt belt buckled). So this cover ended up being even better than I had hoped.

It looks great and was super easy to put on. As long as you follow the instruction steps, it took me like 20 seconds. No struggle at all. I like the rubber inside so it doesn’t slip around on my steering wheel. It’s very snug, like a second skin on my wheel, but also adds the slightest bit of bulk that I never knew I needed!

This thing is so hard to get on to your car omfg. I was literally 2 seconds away from returning this. If it weren't for the fact that it appeared to be the same size as my old horribly dirty steering cover I would have assumed this just the wrong size. I eventually got it on though, but it was hard. VERY HARD. I've put steering wheel covers on every car I've ever, but this is by far the worst one I've ever done! That part aside, it looks great and does everything it said it's supposed to do and it's served the purpose I wanted it to serve!So, horrible installation process aside, this cover is exactly the color I was expecting. It feels very unsubstantial, though, so if you're looking for something with a little extra padding look somewhere else. My last cover was a bit squishy like memory foam so I'm not completely decided yet, but I may return this. I suppose my main deterrent on that is the fact that the installation of this thing has me sweating and with a strong will to stab somebody right now. Lucky for me I live alone 😆All joking aside, if you want a cute steering wheel cover that adds almost nothing to the girth of your steering wheel this is the one for you! It's actually quite comfortable even without the extra padding my old one had, and to be honest I'm going to live with it for a week or two and see if it's acceptable in the end. I'll update this review if I decide against it, but for now, I think I'll probably keep this 🙂

This was exactly what I was looking for! I live in MA, even when I remote start my car in the mornings the steering wheel is ice cold. The type of cold that radiates to your bone. This cover is not magic, it doesn't warm up but it does not radiate cold, it is SUPER soft and comfortable. It has made a huge difference in the cold mornings. Holding onto the soft fabric is by FAR a lot more comfortable than the ice cold leather. As I said, it is super comfortable, extremely well made and packaged nicely. It has a rubber material inside to ensure it stays put and doesn't slide around. Putting it on is not too hard. I put it on by myself with long nails so it is possible. Just follow the instructions and keep going,.. you will get it on. Also, keep in mind, it has to have a snug fit otherwise it would look loose, cheap and slide around, which would be frustrating and dangerous!!! It does not make the steering wheel too bulky either which is something I was nervous about. All in all... Absolutely a GREAT buy... Not to mention it PERFECTLY matches my 2022 Mazda CX-5!!!

It was even nicer than I had expected. It is soft, yet NOT flimsy. I had to tug a bit to get it on, but that is by design I am sure, so it will fit the wheel and not be floppy. It looks so attractive in my brand new car!

Good looking cover with a nice, soft feel. However, installation on the steering wheel by the average person is an effort in futility. After three tries to force the last six inches of the cover on manually, I had to use a small flat crowbar as a wedge to get it seated all the way around the wheel. In short, it doesn't install as easily as the illustration shows.

My daughter loved this steering wheel cover, it’s pretty cushioned & very soft. I bought another one in a different color for myself.
