This is a great first set or supplement to other sets. They all work together so having more colors and features just adds to the ability of the user to build greater projects withe more imagination. Magna-Tiles are the best, and the originator of the concept, for that reason, I tend to stick with their product as i know they use safe materials, have a reputation for being durable and strong. Value for money is relative, and I’d rather pay more to know that my grandkids are using products that won’t turn out to have harmful components. These are fun for the kids, and in all honesty, great fun to play with by the grownups, as well.

I bought this builder set of Magna-Tiles for my grandsons for Christmas. They are six and three years old. The boys have many Magna-Tile sets. There are many imitators out there, but I will only purchase Magna-Tiles. They are pricy, but the magna-tile magnets are very strong. The creative possibilities are vast.

I have had this product for 3 years. They are a great value for your money on Amazon. The grandchildren still love playing with them and they are very durable.

I bought these for my grandson for Christmas, he loves them. They are very good quality, and he loves building construction vehicles with them.

I bought 2 sets of road, a vehicle set and this Builder COnstruction Set for the neighbor's child. I thought he could create different configurations of road and use this set to move magnatiles to his construction sites. Like everything by Magnatiles, this set is well-made and will last far beyond the years that your child plays with it. When preschoolers construct, they are using their brains because the construction is open-ended. In addition, the child's brain is steadily releasing dopamine while they construct and play, which stimulates the reward centers in the brain, making the child feel motivated and engaged. All good for brain growth! As for work with small motor movements, an area is which preschoolers must grow, magnatiles do the job with endless hours of play involving small motor movements. I cannot recommend enough!

Great gift for our Grandson who loves trucks and building roadways ! I had read in other reviews that additional tiles would be nice to go with the set. So I also included a box of additional tiles. He has had lots of fun building and the cranes really work !

My 4yo nephew loved this, opened it up and started playing right away. The cranes that magnetize and rotate are super cool

My 4 year old loves the individual pieces of the magnetic tiles and plays with them for a long time, he enjoys being creative. It was a gift for his birthday. The only disadvantage I noticed, is that the cranes detach and fall apart very easily, and you have to keep reattaching them. Definitely worth the money! Easy to clean!
