Does the pedal just rest on the spring or does it actually attach to it?

It attaches to the bottom metal plate facing up. Whether it rests on the spring or not depends on where you tighten the spring into position.

Can this work with other brand pedals?

The Iron Cobra pedal has a flat metal plate with pre drilled holes. If yours has a metal plate with two round screw holes and an oval hole to access the spring screw it should easily work. Or if it has a metal plate and you’re handy with a drill.

Will this work on a iron cobra powerglide 900? i have the open slot on the base of the pedal but it isnt like the pictures and i dont have 2 holes...

I think it supports the Cobra coil. I’ve found some pictures on the web, and I think it should work as expected.

Is this price for one or a set of two?

This is just one coil(for single pedals). You would need two of these if you're using them for a double pedal.

Pricey, but excellent!

Works well with Tama pedals.

This is a replacement component which can also upgrade non-brand single pedals. I used it to upgrade an older pedal; which, in its mid -footplate position, was too strong a spring and limited travel. In time, I'll use it on my original Tama pedal.

Recomendable para pedales Iron Cobra

Lo compré como complemento para el Iron Cobra 600 y noto mucha mejora en cuanto a la recuperación de la posición del pedal sobre todo en golpes rápidos, reduciendo bastante el esfuerzo necesario a la hora de levantar el pie. Se puede ajustar la resistencia desplazando hacia adelante o hacia atrás el muelle por el carril.
