When mounted in my boat windshield it does tilt down enough but still worked ok

Do not buy!!
If you are looking to buy a mirror for your boat you DO NOT want this one. In order to mount it correctly the 2 screws have to dig into the aluminum of your boat. Once you get it mounted it does not tilt down far enough to see behind you if you are sitting down. 1outta 10 don’t recommend.

Raw screws
Running raw screws through a rubber pad that goes through the rubber pad that eats into your aluminum to get it to mount is not my ideal way of mounting I would prefer it not to gnaw into my aluminum frame make it look like I made it out of my backyard Something I found in the scrapyard and just threw together to throw a mirror on

No instructions
Got this for Christmas. Just opened it to use it on My boat today. It was in 30 pieces and no instructions included with it. I am a fairly handy person but I think it may take some time. It looks sturdy if I can ever get it mounted. If you are not handy, I suggest you keep shopping.

Poor design. Only lasted one day on the boat before It fell off.
Poor design. Tightening screw should have a pressure pad for the mounting point on the windshield. Pads are cheap quality, screw went right through it and if it was tightened any further, to get it to be mounted correctly, it could’ve cracked my windshield. Floppy mirror design, wouldn’t stay upright, not happy with product.

Arrived with no direction on how to install
The mirror appears fine but I have no idea of how to hook it up....
