Great boot
I’ve been a tree climber for seven years and always wore loggers. Now that I’ve bought the la sportivas I’ll never go back. Buy these boots

Did the JOB!
I bought these boots to serve as my first WORK trip and tower climb gig. Each time I went up on the tower, there were LONG moments where I needed to position myself in a way that placed my body weight squarely on the mid (arch) portion of my feet (to remain stable in place). These boots ROCKED! They were comfortable and even on the sharp angle-iron of the tower, I could NOT feel any pressure on the bottom of my foot (only the comfortable, soft insole of the shoe--the steel shank properly protected the bottom of my feet as advertised). HIGHLY recommend these to hikers and professional (tower) climbers.

This is a comfortable long lasting boot
This is a comfortable long lasting boot. Plenty warm in the winter and keeps the feet dry. Good support when climbing so feet never hurt. I'm on my second pair and I'm sure I'll be buying a 3rd.

Large
It’s good quality but too large to wear. I wil feel uncomfortable on them.

A great boot for lineman!
This is my 5th pair of this same boot. I have been wearing them for years climbing poles, towers, and doing ground work in the powerline construction trade. They are very tough and fit great. My only dislike would be that the soles tend to be soft since the boots are actually for ice climbing, so they wear somewhat quicker when worn in the city alot.

Best Lineboots I've ever owned!! (Read review though)
I love these boots!! I've tried other kinds of line boots and these are the absolute best I've worn!! First off, these are not waterproof. So don't get your hopes up. With the full shank they do feel like you're walking on 2X4's, but that makes them so great to climb in. These are my second pair, my first pair lasted me about 3 years and I replaced them because the tread was gone but the boots were still going strong!! Needless to say my last pair wore like iron and felt like I was standing on a cloud on the pole!! Be careful skating lacing in towers though, the rough galvanizing will take a toll on the arch.

Every Lineman Needs These
I'm a lineman, I fit a 10.5 Hoffman . I ordered a 44 since these boots tend to run a bit on the small side. The fit and feel on the pole is incredible! No more sleeping and sore feet. The steel shank runs the full length of the sole. Their the lightest climbing boots I've ever worn. The sole itself is a bit softer then normal lineman boots. But their worth the price for the comfort. Looking forward to ordering my next pair of Makalu boots.
