I was needing some material that was anti-slip that that I could glue onto my boots to work on a slick metal roof. I have glued the rubber on with contact cement, and they are pretty good concerning being non-slip. However after only one day of use on a metal roof, the rubber is falling apart. It is frayed and it is peeling. One of the heels has completely broken off. The other one is getting ready to break off. If you look at the soles of the shoes, the rubber is coming apart around the edges. It's literally unusable for any type of meaningful work on a shoe or boot. It might work for an indoor slipper, but nothing else.

I bought this product but did not use it yet. I gave it 5 stars because it feels very good and is exactly what I was looking for. My project is a pair of handmade moccasins. Originally my idea was just to make them with a leather bottom for indoor use. Now I have decided to use this soft crepe as a sole for better grip and to eliminate the possibility of slipping. This material is what is used fir crepe soled shoes. It is very malleable, soft and springy, Quality feels great and what I was expecting.

Easily cuts with a kitchen scissors. Trace the shoe on the product, cut the pattern. Fasten it with shoe goo. clamp it in place with about a billion rubber bands. Wait for the goo to dry, remove the rubber bands and go for a walk. This saved my wife's favorite walking shoes. They are comfortable and have an even better grip than they did when new. Worth it!
