Noise canceling was very good, but at the same time it was very hard to pick up audio

Microphone worked for only a few months
I purchased this microphone in December and it stopped working in May. Even though the warranty is one year, when I returned the item, $20 was deducted for a restocking fee. It was defective and no longer worked. Why would there be a restocking fee? A true warranty would give a full refund. There was nothing to be restocked. I was very disappointed since I use this microphone for Dragon NaturallySpeaking.

This mic seems to work just fine and the audio quality is good but be wary of the fine print: if you want to configure it, you need a Windows system. The description and website claim that the software is available for Linux and OS X as well, but this is not the case. It makes me wonder what else about this product is not true!The software's only needed for setup, but a big part of my purchasing this mic was to get the PTT functionality, and that can only be enabled with the software.

It works fine. I just wish the gooseneck were about twice as long. I have it propped on top of a box so I can speak into it without bending over.
